Thapki's trp was already decreasing before Jigyasa quit. So even if the actress was well known, the show won't have survived the disgustingness being shown. For eg., Fanaa leads have huge fan following and that show is doing worse than Thapki. It's all about the content. Like in this modern age, who the heck is married to two sisters! I personally think Prachi is doing a fab job. Very good actress.

Yeah, the show was totally regressive. The only saving grace was ThaRab, but then with Jiya quitting the Aakasya broke. The already sinking trp couldn't take the hit. A known actor with fan base could have helped that initial damage, but as you say nothing can save the show if the story is not acceptable. Here the show didn't have a plot itself!! None of the support stories were interesting.

Anyways the show did give good platform to actors like Aakash annd Pranchi. So let us hope to see them with a better story. Best wishes to them.
