It's very good that kf is so well received among the general audience, because it is a story that is needed to be told. The only downside is Modi and gang butting in to spread communal hatred using someone s tragedy.

This is what Bollywood excels at and has been doing for decades. In the name of art, slyly inserting small scenes that denigrate Hinduism while portraying other religions as more likeable. There is a Twitter account that displays hundreds of thousands of such examples.

My shock at that tweet was not because Haider was praised for that specific scene because it wasn't the case, but because it is not acceptable to depict an ancient temple as a place of the devil.

Btw.. where is Modi enticing communal hatred? Isnt that a stretch?

no Modi and gang enticing communal hatred is not a stretch its a reality

^^exactly small or big examples,these propaganda attempts have always been there;be it using the ruins of Martand Temple the way Vishal Bharadwaj did,be it indirect mentions of hindu extremism(not saying it's never true but many times it is false or exaggerated in movies and not giving the complete picture is also a way of spreading propaganda)while none at all of extremism from the other side in multiple movies,be it denying the cases of love jihad or changing Mir Ranjan Negi to Kabir Khan.People sadly don't see this here.

One of the old BW had shown that a Hindu becomes atheist/ hates Hindu god for being powerless, while in the same movie always carry a 786 badge which ultimately protects him.
