That's true. But at this rate we'll have more good participants aka the champions out in the beginning. The show will end a lot faster with 2 out every week I rather have champion vs champion than no show 😕

I see where you are coming from. It does seem odd to me but thinking through it makes somewhat sense. If we let one person go every week then it is like all the other shows where public voting might keep the weakest person still in the show and the judges' 50% won't make a mark on the public voting.

This way the challengers are competing amongst themselves and also for the spot on the champions side. I wouldn't do public voting for the challengers otherwise it would be one of those "ooh he is so cute I am going to vote for him" competition. I do think that challengers should go out every other week. So they should tally up their scores from week 1 and week 2 and then eliminate the one w/ the lowest scores because this will give the challenger a chance to prove him/herself twice before they are booted out.

the champion elimination format is fine even though I really MISS Ashwarya :( :( 😭

Exactly, there is a big risk from the good champions of getting out and then some of the weak challengers staying. Take Aishwarya for exmaple - both of his performances were 30 and 30 and he went out but i was weak performer such a Amit Tandon has still stayed in which doesnt make any sense at all.
