Amaal Malik wanted to have a Sonu version of the song and said that i want you to sing this but dont know which version would the company keep in the film but i personally want this song to be sung by you , Sonu replied to him that he don't want to be part of this "audition for a song thing" , in another interview Sonu told that why would i want to waste my time and effort on a song which is mere just for a demo purpose which would be recorded with 8 other singers too....

why would he choose to compete kids like a kid 😉 , new singers want to sing by any mean because they want to make name , Sonu already has been popular since 3 decades why would he want to be in line for music label to decide which version out of 8 would be kept, its an insult for senior artists be it music directors or singers
