Abhira deserved a much better love story before marriage!

We all know how Gopi mask festival was so well shot. They could have given us some more open interactions between them to make us believe they are seriously into each other as in the trip we could see only abhimanyu was interested in her. After that they made abhimanyu a desperate person and a creep. In real life also, a guy obsessing over a girl who he met on a 3 day and who rejected him would be termed as a creep.

I get they wanted to show love at first sight. There is no issue absolutely with that- abhimanyu met a girl who soothed his soul and after a long time he felt alive. He liked that feeling and he calls it love. He immediately fell in love at first sight of that girl. We all would have loved that the guy has already fallen for the girl but i feel there should have been some more conversations in the trip to make us believe what makes these souls connect. Let's skip to this.

I don't like the involvement of Aarohi in this at all. If they wanted to show a love triangle, there was no need to involve 2 sisters in this. They could have shown abhimanyu marrying a girl out of family pressure because he has to move on. Abhimanyu wanting akshara to attend the wedding as a friend and a strong, logical reason for akshara to refuse Abhimanyu's alliance. Maybe they could have showed aarohi manipulating him just the way she did that she doesn't deserve Abhimanyu and hence the rejection but i don't think so there was any need to show aarohi again interested in a guy who openly rejected her in tilak 1.0 fiasco.

In the entire aarohi abhimanyu angle, they reduced abhimanyu to a characterless guy ready to marry the sister of the same girl whom he claims undying love for. He is ready to give her sister every kind of right in his life. There won't be love but still she will be his wife. Abhimanyu's proposal was absolutely indecent and the way he was still after akshara in the functions was absolutely cheap.

I don't want to go on why aarohi would obviously would feel hurt. Aarohi didn't love abhimanyu deeply but she has dreams of getting this handsome man, the dream of marrying a top doctor and being his wife and the very fact that she almost got him on her marriage day. Yes aarohi asked akshara to sacrifice her feelings for Abhimanyu but i don't think it was so wrong for her to deserve this kind of humilation.

I don't like this plot only - 2 girls obsessing over one guy and two sisters competing among themselves. Aarohi even after knowing akshara loves abhimanyu and abhimanyu loves her very sister wants him looks so cheap.

They could have stopped the drama after the fire incident. Abhimanyu starting to consider some arrange marriage proposal and one of two functions happened. Then something to happen and akshara abhimanyu to reunite. The fact that they have involved 2 sisters into the mess of marrying a guy is creepy and that makes abhira's story less interesting.

I loved abhimanyu till the molestation track. He said he won't marry anyone else apart from akshara which showed that the couple had major respect between them despite the rejections. It would be okay to show him trying to move on for mom's sake with pain but respect for akshara. The fact that he actually proposed Akshara's sister aarohi entirely disrespected akshara and their love. The freshness in the story is gone after that as it involved so much of drama.

It made Abhimanyu's character less likable for me as I had actually fallen in love with abhimanyu till the molestation track because of the respect he showed towards his ladylove that Akshara's name shouldn't be involved in this. The way he used to saw akshara itself made me go gaga.

They could have easily shown abhimanyu and akshara working in the same hospital while abhimanyu is engaged to some other girl and them coming closer. Akshara realizing abhimanyu isn't worth losing and that he is actually suffering internally then confessing her feelings. These two uniting. They could have very well shown the angst track there with Akshara falling in love with him while working in hospital and then there is a camp fire where she jumps to save him- that's where she realises she loves him way too hard to let him go and then abhimanyu to come to know through someone she saved him and these two having a confrontation and letting go of all the angst.

Other tv serials too showed this kind of plot with guy or girl being engaged to someone else and realizing their love. Dev was also engaged to some other girl in kuch rang pyaar ke bhi and he had respectful professional conversations with her . He realises he loves Sonakshi but first he goes and decently Apologizes to the girl he ws engaged to that I can't do this marriage and am feeling guilty of the same.

Here, they've showed abhimanyu as a shameless person to use aarohi like that.

Then their marriage track would be so much better like that with us knowing they both deeply respect each other. No aarohi involvement. So much freshness.

Since we've already seen functions of abhimanyu and Aarohi, it has reduced our craze..if we saw functions to be happening for the first time in yrkkh with akshara and abhimanyu would be so much better. It would always stay in our minds that aarohi and abhimanyu were about to get married

The entire goenkas agreeing to abhimanyu getting married to akshara after he jilted the another sister on mandap is weird.

So many subplots to build up abhira's love is ruined just like that- they didn't even give us any proper conversation.

Totally agree with you, I hated two sisters one guy thing! Still trying to forget that phase...but abhis dreamy eyes are helping me to overcome that trauma bit by bit ..I hope they stop showing arohi as bechari soon! I'm bored of her weird jealous face. Otherwise the actress is so pretty and it would be so fun to see her as a high maintenance saali!

I do agree with you in that they deserved a fully fledged love story whereas this is half baked and it is disappointing because Harshad and Pranali are a gift. After Barun and Sanaya, I didnt think I would obessed with a TV couple again. But then sometimes I do catch a glimpse of other TV shows running today and i think to myself that it's good these two are in yrkkh only. Bhagwan ne bacha Liya Muje.

I think the issue is not the makers. They would have opted for the dating phase however such things just do not work in ITV and i am strictly basing this opinion on what I'm seeing. The shows which do good in trp mostly revolve around the couples having millions of misunderstandings between them and the families gas lighting it. People enjoy heartbreak more for some reason. So I guess the yrkkh makers could not afford to give Abhira that dating phase as they had to bring about that jiju drama and see it had worked. That track was so closely watched by all of us. Hum apke hain kaun types romance just does not work anymore. People want devdas.

About Abhi, I disagree with you. I dont think he was character less for agreeing to marry Arohi. I wont elaborate as I've stated my views on this before but all I'm going to say is that Arohi was the main culprit in that situation. Abhi was the victim.

Yaar abhimanyu is not characterless..he was clear since beginning that he never loved aarohi..he even told in mandir that he has never seen aarohi from a Romantic angle...

The reason why abhimanyu was running after akshara in his marriage functions with aarohi is because he loved akshara..

Abhimanyu always wanted akshara..he used to get helpless whenever he used to see her..akshara was selfishly thinking about her sister and forcing abhimanyu to move on ..and abhimanyu was trying to move on but was failing continuously..

Abhimanyu only agreed to marry aarohi because harshvardhan liked aarohi and chose her ..otherwise abhimanyu was ready to marry any girl..

In this whole marriage disaster..the biggest culprits are akshara and aarohi...both the sisters were selfishly lying to poor abhimanyu and playing with his feelings..

Aarohi selfishly wanted abhimanyu for her greed and was forcing herself on him and akshara was selfishly sacrificing abhimanyu like a toy to win aarohi's love and acceptance

Goenka sisters have been disgusting in the beginning..abhimanyu was cheated and wronged by both the sisters..he was never interested in aarohi and was clear from beginning that he loved only akshara..

How is he characterless yaar. He never even flirted with Aarohi . He only loved Akshara. He did agree to marry Aarohi for his mother's sake but if you love someone so deeply you do take that decisions. He made Aarohi clear in first meeting why he is marrying her. For me he is the most loving character. A lover that every girl wants ❤️❤️❤️ I was upset during Manishs heartattack time with him for whatever happened outside Goenkas house but Manish also got him arrested. Also no one is perfect. We all are human beings who makes small mistakes because of situations around us but as long as you correct that, it's all good

Disagree…abhi is anything but characterless…that word should not be used loosely imo…it was not a smart decision to say yes to aarohi without cross checking carefully what he was seeing in the temple from afar …if he had done that he would have seen it was akshu…same with fire incident…so not a smart call but at no point was he ever characterless…if he showed even a glimpse in any scene directly or metaphorically, I would not hesitate to point it out ..I know that

OK. I will be very frank. I did not read your post completely. It is way too long a description for a - characterless Abhi - as you put it.

There's something called - downward spiral. It happens to everyone at some point in their lives. There is no way to stop the spiral or get off it, only wait for it to stop. That is what Abhi went through from Tilak 1.0 on. A downward spiral with circumstances - every single one of them - working against him. But all through it, he never once let go of his love for Akshara, never could let go of his belief that his feelings for her were 100% reciprocated but something was stopping her for accepting.

Sure, he made a bad decision by getting engaged to Arohi but he did it for his mom. She is his one weakness. People are known to do a lot of things for people they love. But he never professed to have any feelings for Arohi. He didn't mislead her. Did he do the right thing in backing out of the wedding at the last minute? Of course not. But it is better than knowing the truth, marrying and then putting all three of them thru another round of wringer. It's a few days of hurt / pain / society taunts Vs lifelong agony for the three of them. If you look at it from that POV, he and Akshara did the right thing.

Of course, makers added a lot of drama to it all.

But there was never at a point where his mind or heart or body (yes, I'm including the physical aspect too because it is part and parcel of a couple in love) wavered, let alone weakened. They were all owned by one person and one person only. Akshara.

Bottom line - he is not perfect. He is not your Knight in Shining Armor. He is not the modern Devdas. But he is not characterless.

Anything in black and white and out of context looks wrong . I don't know what the people's obssesion with wanting to long Udaipur trip , it was short for some purpose which will be used further in creating misunderstanding , quick decisions taken by three leads and that's how the story moves forward.

Let's first talk about Abhimanyu - In Udaipur he met Akshara then realised his love for her and also felt some sort of reciprocation from her AND AND let me remind simultaneously marriage talks were going on . Abhimanyu being a boy of zero prior experience of previous relationship was clear that he liked Akshara and families were getting along too so next step is marriage . He went to Akshara's house with marriage proposal and there also he told the elders to ask her about her will .

And then terrible confusion happened and then Tilak 1.0 . Then Arohi's accident her blackmail and Akshara's rejection . After that Abhimanyu has accepted her NO as simply NO. That's it .

But again Birthday event which led to Molestation incident then again he was rejected . Still a tiny hope remained in his heart .

Then as he was trying to move on fire incident happened and then Abhimanyu realised that Akshara doesn't even care about her . Still he held upon her again when he was going to thank her with a flower in garden he overheard the conversation and then he got enraged.

After that everything was clear he decided to move on and told his father that he will marry any girl which his father wants to . And his father chose Aarohi for his own reasons . Now people will say why he went for Aarohi then my answer is if any girl then why not Aarohi. Even then he tried three times - first calling Akshara to meet and tell her that he is going to get married to her sister with hope that may be may be she will react , then second time he told Aarohi that he will always love Akshara despite marrying her any sane girl will refuse but aarohi accepted , then thirdly he straightway went to Manish with hope that they will refuse owing to tension between two families but again Goenkas accepted the alliance .

After these incidents he was caught in a web trying to balance between fulfilling promise to her mother and trying hard to not listening to his heart . Fact of the matter is because of alliance with Aarohi Abhimanyu and Akshara became more closer and more in love . And in Love people generally do crazy things intentionally and unintentionally .
even on marriage day he was ready to get dressed until he found the photo.

His fault was he should have apologised to Aarohi properly for ditching her on wedding altar . But Aarohi would have done same if her exam would not have turned bogus and again she would have played her blame game on Akshara .

See out of context if we see anything in black and white that one man playing with two sister's emotion it would obviously appear bad on face . But the story has been interwoven around many characters , their perspective , their actions affecting each other . All three are wrong if we sit with hard and fast moral compass and all three are right if we see with complex human emotions . Human emotions are always complex .

Characterless... 😳😳😳😱😱😱😱 Did he mislead Arohi...? He cleared everything the first day that he will always love Akshara and is marrying her for his mother's sake.. Yes, leaving her at the mandap was wring.. It shld not happen to any girl.. But he is not characterless...
