Dude I watched Shaadi Mubarak from episode 1 till it abruptly went off air. And do you know why the show abruptly went off air .. well a) cuz of Covid but also b) cuz they went off track and couldn’t handle the story properly. Shaadi Mubarak writers couldn’t handle the mature love story properly. Here writers are really careful and have handled at least MaAn’s relationship and the progression in their relation with proper care cuz it’s been 6+ months since Anuj entered and MaAn’s progression hasn’t been half-baked or gone off track like other shows do.

I am probably one of the biggest Shaadi Mubarak fans out there. Like I love Rati and Manav’s chemistry in that show.. but still I will say Anupama makers are handling MaAn’s love story way better than SM makers handled KT and Preeti’s love story. In Anupama, they are showing a proper slow-progression of their story and still they have so much to explore. SM makers though gave some amazing scenes of the leads, some really intimate and hot scenes of the leads (which I loved not gonna lie) but still they didn’t have much to show after a point and show went off track very quickly and eventually off aired.

And Shaadi Mubarak and Anupama are different concept. In SM, Preeti wasn't as oppressed as Anu was. Preeti’s ex husband was dead, she didn’t have ex- in-laws etc. Both her kids were married and settled. The fact that they didn’t focus on Preeti’s kids much or the conflict that would bring post her marriage with KT also somewhere down the line made the show loose its charm… Also Preeti was a more strong chr than Anu in a lot of ways..

Anyway these are two different shows with two different concept.. not exactly comparable except the mature love story, finding love at a later age..

Actually Preeti and KT were a really attractive couple and they had a bomb chemistry 🔥🔥 …

having said that, the writers couldn’t properly show the mature love story they had promised and show went off track real quick. They couldn’t engage the viewers as much as Anupama writers have managed to.. plus MaAn’s progression has been handled better and with a lot of care and depth than KeerTi’s ngl.

KT-Preeti will still remain one of my fav ITV couple. But nah I wouldn’t necessarily say that their love story was slow-burn or properly explored. Here you go to people who don’t know who the eff are these people 😆
