Well well well. I don't know how I feel about the proposal. It is still arm twisting imlie into a marriage even if it is for the sake of her future, her mental health and her career. I guess they handled the track as best as they could at this point. I do applaud the makers for not ruining aru's character by making the marriage not part of his revenge plan so to speak. Also, he gave imlie rhe choice and she having the hero complex will obviously accept it. While it is not ideal, i guess it was the best they could have done.

Bring the wedding on quickly though. So the track can move forward with more focus on Aru pushing imlie forward in her career. I need narmu maa and arpi to spoil imlie rotten as new family addition.

Also with the way we saw imlie it was clear that she has glued herself to Ts and their problems and it is just plain toxic at this point. An intervention was needed and it definitely would not have come from anywhere else. She also needs to understand that while she considers them family, she is not responsible for solving every single one of their issues. With this new relationship, aru will finally ensure that while she still remains close to her so called family, she is not being manipulated, used by them for their advantage. This marriage the way it is coming in the track is a necessary evil. I also think aru purposely wants to make himself more black than grey to imlie so that she is not docile after this sort of forces marriage. This way imlie is bound retain that fire in her that he likes.
