Yes, I was annoyed that she asked Adi why he didn't fight back and if he's alright? Especially the 'bahut darad hote?' comment but I also know first hand just because someone is awful and even abusive to you, it's still hard not to care about them. As soon as you're in their presence, they will always have some semblance of power over you. They can always manipulate you to see things their way once you're in their line of vision.
