I honestly think it is simple. Abhi doesnt know the whole backstory and Manjari is hiding things . He only sees the fights and reacts

PB sees Manjari in Akshu and feels she will pull him away further

There are some other things that strike me- PB doesnt know the shart and doesnt know AK refused.

Manjari thinks its taken away magically. Manjari never gives AK the credit for what is done.

She single handedly agreed for Kairav Aneesha without even saying her sister needs to decide.

Segment :- Ak is clear she wants a family and hes her pita samaan and she has no father so needs him

I wonder if the pita and the shani are going to team up or they will work separately
