I wish that he would get to his most awaited 100 today, as that would be awesome to see that he ends his over 2 years century drought on his 100th Test match.

A much better session for Sri Lanka! A good display of bowling from them in this session and they will be mighty please with their effort. They did not let the batters score freely this time and got rid of two set batters, Hanuma Vihari and Virat Kohli. Lasith Embuldeniya once again was the stand-out bowler, as he got the big wicket of Kohli and kept things tight as well. The only thing Sri Lanka would be disappointed with would be about the no balls. They would look to minimize those in the final session.

Like the first session, India have lost wickets in this session as well. They were cruising along nicely in the first hour of the session, but both Hanuma Vihari and Virat Kohli perished soon and failed to make it big. All the four batters got to a good start but they failed to go big. Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant are currently at the crease and building a partnership. India will be hoping they go on and score big. India are still in the driver's seat for now. Let's see how the third session pans out.
