Caught the last episode- it’s a happy wedding

Yeah. Despite all the negativity I think I’ll miss this show. I think this show had seemed a lot more grounded and less dramatic than many other shows at least for a while, and the leads, and some supporting characters like Arjun Shreya etc made me want to watch this more. Also the fact that this show’s focus was on the girl’s family rather than her trials/wasting her energy at a sasural, I find undying devotion towards sasural thats seen in most shows as mostly unrelatable, but the same emotion towards one’s own kin and max to one’s partner made more sense maybe. Even if we all wanted the wedding to have happened ages ago, none of us wanted this show to be a sasural focused one but one where she continues working and using her agency to care for her family

I liked the couple for the most part too- did not like them in some parts as we’ve all felt before but for the most part yes. They also seemed refreshing because despite many flaws and the nonsense they did, they also had a life and numerous priorities asides one another, unlike so many premises and romances where it’s just about each other and nothing, damn suffocating to watch stuff like that

Will always trash the cvs for throwing much potential into the dustbin.

I also watched a bit of the Bengali version of the show to see how they’ve gotten it. It’s the exact same thing I think they’re showing. The leads there are nice but I think they don’t have the energy that Ishita and Karan had

Last episode and finally anjol gets a happy ending with them as husband /wife.

A wedding which should have happened much earlier in the show but creatives ruined everything with too much negativity..They sidelined the main plot anjol journey to focus on chondona negative behaviour towards anjol for full 3 months.. Next when they got a chance to correct their mistakes again creatives focused on pyscho Priyanka..

Another show I would have called it quit but kept watching because of the lead pair..

Karan/ishita even with such a weak storyline gave some brilliant performances..

Ishita I have watched her in drishyam and it's my first show of hers on TV..She is talented and liked her as kajol..

Karan I liked him as Akhilesh, laxman and he has added another feather in his cap portraying Dr Anurag Basu..

Wishing both all the best for future projects...

I thought the chatterjee's, naina will accept their mistakes and bless anjol for a happy married life..Unfortunately it ends with Arjun still vowing to not let kajol live a happy life with Anurag and naina relationship with kajol ends on a bitter note..

A few members on the tsbtsp forum and everyone was free to put forward their opinions.. Everyone respected each other analysis without any heated discussion ..

I will miss the forum and wishing all the best to you all..

It's a break for me from India forum as its the only show I have watched from beginning to end.

Hopefully Karan and ishita come on screen soon with their respective new project and might be we meet again ..

Also, I don't know if anyone noticed (for some reason, I am expecting @arivarshi would have noticed and laughed) but the way that Kaushik Chatterjee was pulling his oxygen mask on and off was the silliest thing I saw. I was laughing so much itna bakwas kar raha tha woh 😂

I laugh more at him basically seeing him hitting his head to emote frustration. The BTS too in that regard was funny as hell.

Wynn caught the latest episode- I think this is the second last episode. Anyway, before moving to what happened, I just want to say the stalker track is reaching a resolution, which is the good thing. The bad part is it’s reaching a resolution in the most rushed, hurried up and useless manner. Even if it’s somewhat satisfying, you know this is all rushed.

Anurag gets ready as dulha and is of course super excited. Naina comes in the pretext of dressing Kajol up. Her conversation with Chandana is good- goes into the depth of her jealousy. Like a lot of siblings who have this sort of issue with a sibling, Naina has some (IMO) mistaken opinions that she’s somehow better than Kajol because she thinks she’s better looking and smarter than Kajol (really laughed here) but whatever, that conversation was not rushed but came out better than expected.

Police come to the venue as the baaraat arrives. It’s genuinely one of the most isolated wedding venues I’ve ever seen but it fits with the low keyness maybe of Anjol. They say they want to arrest Kajol, and the enabling mommy comes. Kajol, she shows some serious spine of steel today- very unfazed and takes matter into her own hands. Anurag on the other hand shows a lot of smarts and reminds the officer about the law that a woman cannot be arrested post 6pm. They were really the characters I had signed up for, only to get them finally in the last two episodes 🤦‍♀️

Enabling mommy spews some bullshit, and the entire Mukherjee-Basu clan put her in her place. I did not understand a few things here, enabler says Anurag loved priyanka and I had hoped he would loudly refute that but instead rants about how much of a slimy piece of work the stalker was when he had the accident. Anyway, minor concern aside, so enabler gets infuriated, and she tried to choke our dulhan to kill her in a fit of a rage, thereby earning an attempt to murder case against herself in front of the police and the entire clans haha.

I really wanted evidence and I wanted anjol to have taken this matter into their own hands rather than enabler and stalker falling down from their own fits of rage. Ah well, what use crying over split milk

@shikhag208 yes, totally agree. The leads really have outdone themselves. ID will appear soon in drishyam 2 but asides her I’m not really excited about this remake. Waiting to see what KS does next . That said I’ve understood I will no longer watch a show simply because I follow the actor or appreciate their skills. I rooted and ended up following this negativity filled show only because of the actors and it’s not been a great experience because they were always rumours of them going off air plus never ending negativity in the story but these guys acted so well that you ended up rooting too much for them

But yes, this is not the only low trp negativity show on colors. These people have done it for ages lol so there is some unfairness in that sense. Of course, the writers are the first to be blamed

I watched till the end because of my attachment to the cast which somehow got me to be curious about what we will be hit with next. It was a train wreck that we all could predict but were somehow unable to turn away from completely till the end. Watching it slow motion knowing where it is heading still watching and not moving away to protect ourselves.

They had a really good cast. And a myriad of wasted opportunities to make it a TRP topper. If only they had taken the audience criticism seriously.

Hi everyone....

So finally the show comes to an end today.

Even till the end these ass creatives kept their negativity intact which ruined this beautiful show completely after the death of Kajols father.

But anyway it ended happily with AnJols wedding and still Arjun and Noina's negativity didnt stop.....what a total mess they made of this show which had so much potential.

To be honest, I didnt watch the episodes, becoz I could not tolerate the negativity anymore even if the leads were doing a fab job in their respective characters. I think I left this show behind since the Haridwar track and couldnt relate to the characters anymore.

With the end of this show, it also means end of all the wonderful discussions we had on this forum. And the respect and maturity towards each other and eachothers opinions is something I will always cherish.

Want to thank all of you for the wonderful time I had here.

Wishing all of you the best and maybe we might meet again in another forum....who knows.

Lots of love to all of you 😘😘

The guy there is a pretty famous Bengali actor hated and liked equally but his acting has always been slow and relaxed. Anyway have been working non stop so don't have the energy to discuss the episodes. I will watch it again tomorrow and then review.

This show was totally different and sometimes what I thought was wrong and I liked it bc after seeing so many shows it becomes repetitive but this show was different.

Ishtia and Karan was different I liked them a lot onscreen. Yes I will miss them a lot a lot and their bg and the Bengali bg omg I miss them more now

@Savee; ahh so we come to the end. I have to say I was glad to see Mr & Mrs Basu but it was a disappointing end. It made no sense to have stalker dominate for 40plus epi and then have her enabler mother feature for last two episodes...

Nania & Arjun are indeed well matched & finally on last day Nania put into her place

We did not see Sharmilla and Abiskek in farewell photo so it ends with just Kajol's family & Anurag & not Mukerjees & Basu family.

We have 5 mins of farewell then it ends..

Well on the plus side I have enjoyed being on this forum @ Savee; quickspicysauce, Arivarshi; Siva& Esha & to anyone else I may have forgotten to tag

I hope to interact with you again in the not too distant future on some other show.

Wishing you all the best
