So any idea why RS chose to remake a Bengali series with what sounds like some very dark themes as the S3 of YRKKH, which is basically a mellow family show? Why not just write an S3 more in line with S1, S2? Or alternatively just make the Bengali show version as a standalone?

My question too. I think it is to do with the channel interference.. RS wanted to continue Yrkkh, SP wanted the Bengali remake so RS made a compromise, I think. But it hasn't been faithful to the og so far, aage kya karenge pata nahin.
