I agree. Ultimately it should the couple's decision weather to stay with family or alone.

Though I do understand Manish's reasoning.. he has seen the level of disrespect Harsh has always expressed towards Akshu and he wants to secure Akshu's future. He is wrong but I understand him.

For a proper character arc flaws are necessary

IMO if the proposal was accepted there is more scope for drama.

The episodes won't fall flat as trp viewers may want to know what is next in line.
