There are two things that I thought happened

1. That Abhi’s and BP’s discussion ended abruptly because of Kairav and Akshu’s arrival But somehow there was more to it that was not shown. That’s the impression I got.

2. I thought also that Ak tricked Abhi to reveal the details of his convo with Manish and that Manish wasn’t really sedation or sleep talking.

I loved it that finally MG is behaving like the elder person he is and talking sense calmly. He called Abhi “alag” and “sahi” and I think that’s as close to an apology that Abhi will get.

Harsh was so hyper today and I felt so bad for him. This guy craves for Abhi’s love and respect.

Like you, I also appreciated that quick text from Abhi to Ak in spite of the tiff they were having - that’s husband stuff 🤗

Today’s episode was a bit slow, but I really did like it. The stage is all set up for Akshu and Abhi to both understand each other and where they are coming from.

Manish comes to the Birla household and says he wants to talk to Abhi alone. Since Manish cannot climb the stairs, Abhi sends everyone else upstairs.

Abhi says that Manish came on Shivratri and gives him Aarthi because it is an auspicious occasion. And although Abhira are not united yet, today is the catalyst that is not only going to get their rishta fixed, but also going to make them relate to each other’s insecurities, thereby building a rock solid foundation.

My favorite moment of the entire episode was that Abhi immediately texts Akshu that Manish is there to talk to him. This is what you call trust and loyalty. He is upset with her and in pain, but he still will not hide anything from her.

Harsh freaking out upstairs was really funny, but also sad. He gets pissed off when one of the house workers tells him that Abhi and Manish are hugging, because he remembers how Abhi would not even give him the aarthi. Again, Harsh is desperate for his son’s love. Today I saw an insecure father who wants to make amends with his son.

Manish tells Abhi how Akshu is his most special grandchild, because he spent the most time with her. He says that he cannot see her suffer anymore, as she has done everything she can to always make him happy. Manish says that when Akshu came back 3 years later, she brought Abhi back with her. This was so symbolic, because Akshu returned home with Abhi… it is like she was destined to go away, as upon her return, she would find her home…and that is Abhi.

Manish says that his viewpoint on Abhi has changed, and he will agree to the marriage, but they have to move out, because Akshu will have to suffer in the Birla household. This condition is so deeply unfair, but looking at it from a father’s perspective, I understand where he is coming from. He knows Akshu will always be protected by Abhi, but the taunts will never end from Harsh, and now there is added tension because of the Anisha-Kairav situation.

Abhi is shocked. He says that he agrees with Manish, but he cannot leave home, because his mom will never agree, and he cannot leave his mom. This right here is the most significant moment of the entire episode. Because, if we are to look at it from the way Abhi was thinking during the hospital bench scene, this would mean that Abhi is choosing his mom over Akshu. But, in reality, that is not the case at all. They are equals to him, and he cannot leave one for the other… just like Akshu wants both Abhi and her family. By rejecting this condition, Abhi didn’t reject Akshu. Rather, he rejected an unfair condition upon which their marriage would be based. He is still going to do everything to fight for her…but he won’t actually have to, because Akshu will have his back here.

In this way, he will realize where Akshu is coming from. There really needs to be a heart to heart conversation between Abhira ASAP… because they need to understand that neither one of them is wrong, and they are actually way more similar than they think.

When Akshu stands up for Abhi and his happiness with his family in front of Manish and the Goenkas probably on Wendesday, Abhi will see how much she values him and how she won’t misunderstand him as having rejected the rishta. This will give him a degree of further security, but after that, I really need there to be a private conversation between these two. Because, Akshu is going to understand him 100%, and that is going to force him to look at things from her perspective. And, in return, she is going to tell him that she won’t leave him ever, as they are both in the same situation. They both need to understand and relive each other’s insecurities.

The episode ends with Akshu and Kairav arriving at the Birlas and the Birlas coming downstairs. Everyone is wondering what has happened.

In the precap, Akshu says Manish isn’t doing well and calls Abhi over. In reality, he is fine, and he has slept talking, revealing his conversation with Abhi!
