If everyone agrees to the same thought process here what’s the fun in it ? And it does not happen that way in real life too . Just because someone else thinks differently why should I persecute them for their viewpoint ? You may think you’re right based on your background/ life experience but that need not mirror to mine or another persons. I wouldn’t mind if we would just agree to disagree ….

But I thought everyone knew these are fictional characters and all of us were simply expressing different viewpoints.

How does having a different opinion makes one side correct and the other pretentious or of less moral ?

And how did the horrific issue like Marital Rape need to get in? If the makers do try to show something like this - they will be in hot water , it’s an extremely sensitive topic to be considered as plot point so casually!!

Does a disagreement over a fictional serial plot/ characters need to spiral this way ? This saddens me! Above is not meant in anyway to be disrespectful just thought to put my two cents in.

I am here to foster a relationship with women who care about other women, not this show, not Arylie, not Adilie, just women who care about empowering other women.

I have no problem if you love Gashmeer, Aditya, the dream that was Adilie etc. My problem is this very thinking. Of trying to bring down even a fictional 19 yo girl who simply wants to pursue her dreams and a career. Take off your blinders. Rip the makers if you must, no need to make snide comments about Arylie fans. Because we root for Imlie and truly want her to flourish, even with this forced marriage track.

People are forgetting Star Plus has topic agendas it wants to cover in all shows that those agendas blend in as storylines well on this sensitive topic it is one they talk a lot mostly about it happening in work place condition.

Here is an example of their sexism in the workplace talk so they are putting it in the shows for a purpose do not do this.

The fact that this even came out of you so easily is worrying. The fact that you think in order to get views and increase TRP, something as serious and disgusting and heinous as marital rape is to be shown is worrying. You're a woman for God's sake. This is a serious issue and something that many women are facing and have faced. This term should not be thrown around like just another word from the dictionary.

The legal system in many countries are still trying to come around this act and help anyone who may have faced such atrocity.

I'm sorry I fail to understand how any woman can easily just spit those words out without and ounce of thought. As a woman I find the word rape repulsive and having seen women coming in to the hospital after rape & going thru so much trauma its even more disgusting to see when its being used so casually by some ppl even for a fictional character.

Doesn't matter if you supported a certain ship before and have been deeply hurt that the so called fictional ship that you truly enjoyed sank like the Titanic. But saying that the new fictional character/ ship go thru marital rape is plain disgusting.

Rape in general be it of a woman or a man is wrong PERIOD. What AKT went thru was wrong and yes we don't deny that and nor do we support this act... but we don't wish for it to happen to anyone fictional or otherwise. Should Malini pay for her actions YES, will the makers show it who knows, it's their choice and they have to maintain TRPs and make money, cause it's their JOB to do so.

Plus, I don't know which show ur watching but a character like Aryan, who is shown to be a mentor to Imlie, showing her the path to her success, supporting and helping her during difficult times AND who stands for women empowerment will NEVER stoop so low.

Bottom line is it's a show if you don't like what you see then leave.

We have done left the show before when it wasn't enjoyable and we were happy. Came back when it got better...if it get's worse we'll leave again.

Okay, first, as a woman, I find your thoughts repulsive. Like my blood boils at the capacity of a person even thinking this. I watched a bruised, beaten and raped woman, a married woman, asked to go back to her home by her parents, the home she was beaten and raped in, the home she had been thrown out of, and this was like so many years ago, and I can't believe this is how someone can think. All because of her family, her oppressive parents, her little children, she had to ignore the abuse she went through and the problem is that this is still a problem. There are are woman out there, who never come out of such traumas, and worse, there are woman out there, who never get to show their trauma.

Now, as a watcher, I'm going to say rape is not one sided. Men are also raped. Malini's and Aditya's characters were married when Malini's character took away Aditya's agency to consent. That counted as Marital Rape too. So, if this was your attitude when your the great flawed character was raped, I totally understand why the writers didn't let that impact Aditya's character.

Finally, as a human, rape is a worse crime than murder, because while murder is taking away a person's life, rape is something that takes away a person's will to live. It drives people to suicide. Men or women, single or married, regular or marital, rape is a crime that is rage enducing.

Something that you cannot, in any way joke about.

I think peepz who are talking of ML doing some kind of Marital rape / groping / sexual abusement to FL all the time are watching some other version of Imlie episodes which is not available for normal viewers like us.

Arylie could be forced/contract/false marriage track I'm least bothered as we all know it's ITV fiction show and now Arylie are main couple and makers bring these kind of tracks to create drama and show romance happening between the leads as well. There is no need to force themselves to endure the drama/ to watch sexual harassment/ romance which individuals don't like as there are many other shows running around !

Wow.. can’t believe what I just read.. how does this relate to the show in any way and who could even come to a disturbing theory like that after having been watching the episodes.. and such a casual dismissive remark about a very serious issue yet the urge was so strong to type it out.. why? Is this place even about the episodes anymore?

A show that has had tracks quite different from many promos throughout. 3 promos that never even happened.. and yet the theories went to such an extreme over this one, this one promo instantly taken as fact. Why?

I think it’s nice to have a space to discuss, hype and vent about shows but maybe sometimes it’s a better thing to step back and think whether the thoughts we let our minds enter are even worth it.. why waste so much time on fictional characters you know you can only hate? and will elicit even casual remarks about serious issues if it helps you have a reason hate on them. I mean, my opinion but I think it’s better to find something we can love.. they might just be fictional character but hate is a very real emotion we feel and this constant hate can end up harming us. I know a lot of people may hate watch fiction sometimes but.. it’s better to step back and find something that’s better suited to us if nothing but more anger comes out of it..

I seriously hope you are wrong with that prediction. Aryan is too much the male dominant bully to make any woman happy unless she is completely submissive.

I repeat, Imlie should never marry Aryan, she would be miserable as would any woman with such a bully. Look how he forced her repeatedly to sit down after she walked home all muddy! Any nice caring bloke would not tell her off but let her immediately go for a hot bath and relax and freshen up! Obviously she needed to be alone to think things through and deal with the recent trauma - she doesn't need him to boss her about!
