Yaar, shayad they are better than us who chalao our dimaag over the faltu crap we're being dished out here - best to watch mindlessly, swoon over whatever we are given in the name of romance and keep things endlessly perfectly positive🤣🤣🤣

I hadn't been watching it from the start, in '20, but it's actually a good show, the lead Rupali Ganguly is very good. It's about a 40+ years devoted housewife who's unappreciated, like about 90% of Indian housewives, and then she discovers her husband's EMA, and finally breaks loose of the ghar ke bonds. I started watching it from Gaurav Khanna's entry, didn't know of him before but have since understood that he is an under appreciated actor. He has a romantic interest in Anupama and since his entry in the show Anuj Kapadia has become the "national crush" and their jodi #MaAn is currently the most celebrated jodi of Itv. Actually you should see Anuj, he is the anti-thesis of JIJAJI. A mature, classy businessman. Very nice character. Jija should learn respecting women from him.

But lately they have just been dragging the show.. The story arc of Anupama's struggles and her breaking and rebuilding her life, then Anuj's entry, their friendship, slowly developing into more was all very good. Now they're just filling and I've skipped epis past month, now they have become a couple so saw that part.. They're both of them great actors.

It makes my blood boil when these naye sikke abhira fans troll that show, which is like in a totally different sphere from this crap. The fun thing is, I interact a little on the IF Anupama page too,and there those folks laugh at yrkkh as being around since Mughal times.

A premise that a woman in her 40s isn't past her romantic or professional prime - well, that's definitely a new take for ITV as far as I know!

(a nice change from YRKKH where women in their 30s are being cast as grandmothers and mothers to men their own age🤢)

But they do mean the P word for hanky-panky, so I think it's intentional.

There are some Spanish slang words that are quite commonly used in the US at least. Who knows? If so, it's kind of clever🤣🤣
