Everything begins and ends with forced marriage or hate marriage. Arre bhai nahi hone wala hai...kitni baar bataye...nahi hone wala. Coming back to the episode, ok bear with me cause this will turn into a rant. So, I know I don't like Imlie much and neither her sorry ass justifications for the Loserathis and Aditya. But why is Imlie supposed to understand Aryan for any reason whatsoever? Aryan has chosen to do whatever he has done with the least bit of any expectations from Imlie. I can understand that she should respect her work and the opportunity she has received which has evaded her countless times and she should focus on her studies and career and I completely side with Aryan on that front. But why is Imlie supposed to understand or even attempt to understand a grown man's feelings, which he himself doesn't want to name? Whenever Imlie even pursues something as normal as friendship, Aryan turns her away. Whenever Imlie as much as expresses normal emotions, Aryan turns her away. For Aryan nothing is greater than his own agenda which is so prominent in his behavior that even Imlie has caught on to that. When has Aryan Singh Rathore ever given any importance to love that Imlie will supposedly give consideration to a man always hellbent on portraying himself as unfeeling. Feelings are something so organic, they always creep in, and Aryan has no control over that. This is solely Aryan's battle which he has to fight on his own and decide what he wants to choose - hate or love; anger or closure; vengeance or grace.

Its not Imlie does not repect Aryan, even if she does not tell him, she has told off Aditya and anyone else for that matter. And she also reads him well when it comes to his mind. But heart? Aryan has never opened up to her in that way for her to grasp that depth. She surely can, but she has to be given access for that isn't it. And did you hear Imlie, did you hear her?😆 The girl doesn't even understand love outside any relation. She has names to this - either friendship or marriage or family. Usse jyaada woh samajhti nahi. And you guys want her to grasp the feelings of a 30-something guy who is himself trying to escape from🤪. She is young, she has seen pain and only pain to date. Love, courtship, wooing, ye sab ladki ko pata hi nahi hai. Jab tak khud Aryan lead nahi lega, usko apna woh side nahi dikhayega, how is she supposed to understand. Aryan has shown her what success, what self-respect, what independence looks like. That gadhero chokro has to take her through this also - love, wooing, courtship, dates. Jo normal cheeze two people brewing in love do, Aryan has to take her through it. Bechara, phans gaya miyaan businessman😆

Neelu, when I said Mohan Bhatnagar, I was thinking of the approach they were taking. Cause Mohan and Megha were an angsty pair and more than that the way Mohan brought angst, I am not sure these writers can execute that as well with Fahmaan, who is good with emotions. Mohan has my heart to date. He is the prime example of abla nar and I love him. The capacity as a man he has shown to love a widow, her children, her family and accepted each of them with such an open heart, he was such a gem. I have tremendous admiration for that character. So, they should really take some notes to pull off that angst by watching Na Bole Tum.

Brothel????Just because Sumbul is dressed like that so brothel. It could be a fancy dress Bollywood party by BT, it could be Imlie's birthday, it could be something but seedha waha. What will Malini get by doing that? Aryan needs to win Malini's trust to make her believe that he is on her team. If Malini wants Aryan on her team, that is the last thing she should be doing - hurting Imlie. Lekin nahi, achcha kaahe ko soche jab bura sochke mera khoon jala sakte ho nahi.😆Sabke sab Exu jaise ban gaye hai. Tum logo ko meleko tang karna achcha lagta hai😭

Also, Imlie was taking Aryan through her plan against Malini. And whatever she reiterated was exactly what Aryan thinks about her, not what Imlie thinks about Aditya. Aryan thinks that Imlie will never get over Aditya and never love him. This is Aryan's assumption about Imlie. That's it.

However, with Imlie n her all relationship has always been of deeds/actions. Adi for first 50 episodes was unbearably horrible to her still she saw his concern for her thru small gestures like handing her cream, n all. Also, when Senior Tripathis were cruel to her that time to she justified their actions as anger.

Phir, Aryan ke saath itna sautela behaviour kyu... when Aryan though saying that she is just employee for him has gone beyond n helped her, saved her numerous times.. Not expecting her fall for him so soon n all but sometimes her behaviour looks so uncalled for.. downright rude... No doubt Aru was not expecting anything from her.. But slowly he has started expecting things from her.. be it as simple as expecting her to order/share food on that dhabba or getting upset when she asked him to go back to R house.

Is she really that oblivious...

@bold that scene resembles to me of whole Imlie serial situation and Aryan's entry to the show.

Okay, with Imlie she has a twisted brain to compliment her personality and masochistic tendencies. From a very human as well as a personal perspective, I for one know that when we are loved we believe we will always be loved, so we don't make that effort for the one we love and take them for granted. But when we are not loved and ignored, that is when we work hard and put in efforts to be loved.

For Imlie, Meethi and Satyakaam will always love her, she is their child and she knows no matter what they will love her. So she never puts in efforts as such, to the point of taking them for granted. With Aditya and Tripathis, 2 things worked for her - that was her in-laws and husband, and as a wife and DIL, even if unknown, she would have to make the effort to gain their love. No matter how much Aditya or Tripathis shabbily treated her, she wanted them to love her because they are family.

With Aryan and the Rathores, they are strangers, she has no unrealistic expectations from them and again she knows their love won't diminish no matter what, hence no efforts.

Efforts tab diye jaate hai jab kuch kho dene ka ya na milne ka darr ho. Jo PD and Rathore family se usko nahi milta. Cause in her mind they will stay. But Tripathis and Aditya flip faster than a coin.

Now, the understanding ki problem usme nahi, samne wale ke acceptance aur absorption capabilities me hai, woh usko abhi bhi aaya nahi. Ye samajh, ki kami mere pyaar, achaar, vichaar, vyavhaar, parivaar me nahi, but opposite family ke thinking aur emotional insecurity and incompetency me hai, woh waqt and tajurba lagega seekhne me.

So, for Imlie to truly understand what real love and real family looks like, she has to face heartbreak and fear of loss, otherwise, the value that she should place on the Rathores and Meethi/Satyakaam will not really find its place.

This very simple thing, the writers do not have the gumption or effort to produce or execute. Hence Imlie becomes unappealing.

I don't think she's oblivious or unfeeling. But like libran said, she doesn't understand love for the opposite sex outside of labels. Labels which Aryan steadfastly refuses to iterate. She's moved on from Patrakar-jiju but whether she's consciously willing to put herself out there is debatable. These two share a lot of intimacy and exhibit a lot of couple-like behaviour. "Friendship" would be an acceptable tag for her to implore these feelings prominently. But he doesn't even allow that.

So, they are going in circles; not really perusing each other's feeling but not being able to resist the intimacy either

Aryan is far more aware of her feelings than she his, imo. He has many reasons to push her away, she has very few. But this gadheda doesn't do anything with expectations anyway. So till he's willing to actively persue his feelings or Imlie gets some explicit insight inadvertently from him, this will remain an agonizingly slow-burn.

Though, I have no faith in Gul to sustain a slow-burn for long.

Imlie was binded to him . That horrible behavior came from her Husband . A husband who can be an abuser still a parmeshwar .that thought was instilled in her mind . These tripathi had no humanity still they were her in laws . Watever relationship she talks about is only sprung upon her . She hasn't made any relation from her heart . She has no clue wat really a relation is . She is happy with the idea of named relations.
