A would totally rock the party in a shimmery cocktail dress and enjoy it with her other friends (common friends of both of them) but A has to be cautious of drinks and other things because I don't trust B at all, he could do anything in his desperation

A sends a lot of hearts ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ And has said that she will take all of your advices seriously! She said that she is still not very sure if she will attend the wedding because the venue is too far but she will surely rock the cocktail party.

I don't even know why A wants to attend any function of B when he behaves like that. This is just asking for more trouble. I totally don't understand why people behave like this after a break up. A doesn't have anything to prove to B. B is a proven stalker now and I don't understand why A is still keeping channels open so that B can reach out to her, and on the top of it actually considering to attend the cocktail dinner.

I am sorry, but right now the only person I feel bad for in this whole situation is C. Please someone let her know what a horrible person B is. She doesn't deserve to spend her life with someone like that. It would have made sense, if he is marrying someone after he moved on but he is actively pursuing his ex. Paavam C.😭

I am not saying A should do it because she is not at all obligated. If she wants to out of kindness, I well and good. But if she A doesn't want drama, she should be keeping far away from anything and everything that has to do with B. All this non stop talk about should I attend or not, should I gift something or not etc is just looking for drama I feel.

To all the people who commented on this topic, thank you for your valuable suggestions.

A did attend the wedding and also one more function before that. She gifted B a set of cufflinks, tie and pocket square.

She had great time with her friends and also reconnected with lost connections from college. All in all, it was worth the effort put in getting ready for the functions.
