So guys situation is-

A friend of mine (say, A) was in a relationship with a guy (say, B) but she dumped him because she realised that they won’t work in the long run. But they remained great friends.

After almost 10 months of the break up A went on a trip with some of her friends and B got angry and went on a trip with his set of friends. On the trip he met a girl C and they became friends.

Later C proposed B for marriage but B, still having feelings for A, approached her. But A didn’t have any feelings for B and didn’t take him back.

In spite, B agreed to marry C.

B got engaged to C eventually but still kept telling A that he loves her which she of course didn’t pay any heed to and told him to find happiness with C

Now, B has sent his wedding invite to A, on the eve of Valentine’s Day and his wedding is on A’s mother’s birthday.

What should I tell A?

guys! This is a real life situation and my brain is not working.
should A attend the wedding?

A should attend the wedding to prove to B that she has nothing except friendship and she should attend his wedding as a friend.

This is similar fo engangement scene 😂

Jokes apart. If A does not attend wedding then B will definitely think ghat A has feelings and she must be sad thinking about B's marriage.

If A wants to prove that she does not have any feeling she has to attend marriage and it should be on her own will not after getting forced by anyone.

If needed she can go in the end like almost when wedding concludes or may be in the beginning meet some friends over there and handover the gift and leave early so that he should clearly get to know A is not interested.

Just curious does A have feelings for B? Is there any reason for rejection? Is A is sacrifising for some one ?

A should attend the wedding, firewings_diya gave the apt reason, I want to add something

A should look hot to show B that she doesn't care who B marries, she is here as a friend and to enjoy good time with her friends and of course shaadi ka free food, that's it

I honestly don't think A has to prove anything to anyone. If she thinks it's going to be awkward going to the wedding of a guy who still claims he loves her, she should be free not to attend, and she can happily focus on her mom's birthday and celebrate it. And if B is gonna annoy her more through calls and texts after the wedding, she should just ignore it and block him and go on with her life without bothering about his antics.

Actually in my opinion, it's high time A cut all ties with B, because advances even after consistent rejection should not be tolerated.

Maybe it'll be better if she doesn't attend, she's got her mother's bday as legitimate excuse so B needn't think its bcz she has feelings for him. And even if he does, no matter, she's got her own valid reasons for ending the relationship even if she still harbours feelings for B. She can work on it in her own time, way.

Also it will be in very bad taste if she should go, looking hot moreover, bcz then B will be distracted from his bride C and that's not fair. Their marriage will be over b4 it starts and A will be partly to blame.
