Let's not forget Abhimanyu fell for Akshara because she reminded him of his MAA, and also it is clear he took a dislike to Arohi from day 1 (not even looking at her when she was apologizing for knocking over his scooter).

To me, there's a lot of subtext to be unpacked just in that scenario, tying right back to what you wrote.

What he wants (as do a lot of high-powered professionally driven men) is a woman to look after him like a child, manage his household and bring up his children. Just like his housewife mother. And he has a natural antipathy to the ambitious sister who is a doctor like him...

Granted they made Arohi pretty horrible but Abhimanyu didn't know (and still doesn't know) the extent of her misdeeds. He has been rude and cold to her from the beginning, even when he thinks she saved his life.

ab everyone who works is a villain even the guys like HARSH and ANAND are berated for working and the KABIL DOCTOR who ditches patients in the middle of the OT is celebrated

we were all supposed to feel so bad for NEIL when HARSH asked him to do something productive

basically if you hang out in the garden quit your job or listen to construction music you are a good guy in this show

Also, I wanna know where Abhimanyu gets money to set up camps. And do complicated heart surgeries at camps, is that even possible?

I mean you do vaccination drives and primary health care, right? And to am extend secondary health care. But tertiary health care in a camp, it happens?

You know I finally looked into the first season of yrkkh..like the prehistory era😝... And y'know I see why its got the status it has. There's such an old-world charm to it, it doesn't pretend to be progressive and stuff. Just tells a story of a traditional and old-fashioned time. So even though one wouldn't want something like that for ourselves we can understand those characters and their motivations and sympathise. There's a segment in epi 11 or12 that kind of depicts nineteen year old Akshara's awakening sexuality, and it is so charmingly and tastefully done. The concept and characters are so lucid, a little glamourized ofc but it can be overlooked.

I was thinking kahan se kahan aa gaye! It is sad that something that was so distinctive has now sunk to the level of...idk..like single-celled organisms.
