I personally believe world is unfair , specially when it comes to women and her choices it can never be fair to them. They have to face flak every time whatever they do and When Deepika took stand for herself and was fighting for her rights that moment, it hit me hard because it was so relatable.

That word- dil pe lag gayi.....yes it happens . Hurting male ego then receiving flak has become so common for women and for this I like fiery woman😆 who can give tough time to egoistic male counterparts.

Workplace politics and unpleasant situation can be stressful for both men and women but its more damaging to women.

I just want to listen fellow members opinion and experiences. what's your take.

I've also experienced that as well. It's all politics, senior male managers can do what they like, and they have support and their word is taken as the truth.

Deepika was lucky to have a mentor that stood up for her, but that is not always the case. My female manager went against me.

I have faced fav since the TL favoured people North and used to pass derogatory remarks about skin colour and veg food habits. He used to also favour gals who flirt with him.

One TL tried to use credit for doc done by me , but he was not aware that his boss was in BCC. I had heard that he tends to do this from his previous work mates . So to be safe I had tagged his boss but by then he had given me a bad review and I did not get a hike. Plus he had told many peeps I am a arogant woman who can't take even mild flirting

Another TL from a nearby team used to pass off colour remarks, but i called him out in public. Make sure HR gives him a warning.

I am quite bold and have stood up for most wrong done to me due to the support I had from my older bro.

I was always aware of all the legal and professional options that I could seek

Plus the self defence training i had somehow gave me the confidence i could tackle anything.

PS ..this is a woman who is ordinary in looks and I faced so much..God alone knows what good looking ones face

I work in wedding events. Our company has mainly women employees. The production team men don't listen to is at all.

"We don't take orders from women" now they are like Abhay 🤣 slowly learning that gender doesn't have anything to do with talent and success!
