I remember this (bold). That's when i started posting right around the Goa separation track, username was Prettywitty. There were some heated debates about whether Kartik or Naira was more at fault but I don't ever remember it being like it is now.

It comes down to Abhimanyu. All other characters' criticism is tolerated. But any criticism of Abhimanyu is seen as an attack on the feelings of his fans or on HC. The JIJAJI threads were squarely meant to poke fun at the writers in a humorous way but then people started acting as though it was a slam on the lead couple or on HC's acting. It got really off-putting. That forum is now basically a fan club.

No one had that kind of blind devotion to Kaira or Mohsin Khan or Shivangi Joshi in S2 that I recall - I think that's why the discussions never got out of hand.
