Thank you for writing this. I mostly agree with what you have written. Just will share my perspective too.

On the plan, I feel he knows that his mom doesn’t listen to opinions (we all know our family members) he openly shared his views on Meety and Manushi but she didn’t listen. He is not the kind who will walk out and live separately, neither is meety so he has to make it work. And this can only happen if Babita herself realises her mistake without others feeding it to her. Meety has clearly said she won’t leave him unless he wants her to leave so it had to go to this extreme to make her take the tough decision and voice it out too. Only this can make Babita realise her mistake.

On why he celebrated, I feel he was over manushi in HM phase, it was disgust later of realising what kind of human he initially fell for. He already has seen her worst side. And he is genuinely a nice guy so he is bound to feel bad of falling for a person as low as manushi. He also realised how flawed his idea of outer beauty was and he himself said meety is pure from heart. He always wanted a wife like his mother and the fact he is going to such a length to show his mom that meety is the right partner for him proves he is over that initial view. He knows what matters in life and is now trying to open his mom’s eyes.

I don’t think he considers her just a friend, I feel he has already fallen hard, the crush on manushi is long over. One never plays games with the one they really love so manushi’s standing in his life is clear. At the same time I feel he knows the real meaning of love now, and loves meet but in his mind he also thinks she doesn’t love him (they might twist it and show he knows her love but I doubt). For him rose day was special so he took her for a date, he got angry as he was preparing her for the bigger bomb he was planning to explode. He genuinely wanted to celebrate Valentine with meety so the elaborate preparation and he did celebrate only with her, rest was execution of plan.

So I am clear now the guy is totally in love but will voice it only when things are clear.

For me, following were the instances that prove he loves Meety and not Manushi:

1. Dead body- He was worried about Meety not forgiving him not what happened to didi!

2. 24/7 inko memories banani hoti hai Meety ke saath..

3. He believed Meety is hotheaded enough to do gundagardi but still accepts her!

4. He realises what is imp for Meety- Her papa ki chain, bike and house.

5. He was searching raat bhar desert mai for Meety whereas he threw didi out of house at night..

Aur bhi bahut saare.. 🤧

Usse khud nahi pata ki wo gone case hai🤣.

Manushi wala toh pyaar ho hi nahi sakta🤣.

Ek jhalak mai esse pyaar thori na hote hai.

Unn dono ne toh time v spent nahi ki jyaada after their marriage was fixed 🤭

Aur sirf 15 din ka bond<<< 6 month wala bond.

At least I don't believe in pehli nazar Mai pyaar🤭.

But I do believe ki kuch logo k liye pehli jhalak mai crush turned to live ho sakte hai.
