Yaar if I've to say the kind of love MA felt for his first love,I think his present feelings as well as consideration towards MH makes more sense,infact his love for MH will look very staged or like for sake of story.

After having that kind a love a person is capable of this much only.

Ek baar passionate love ke baad mushkil hota hai dobara utne hi passion se pyaar karna somostly second time people are mature and prefer partners with understanding and comfort.

So MA is right at his place.

But yess MH is gutsy to fall in love even after knowing that MA heart belong to someone else but agar dekh jaye toh its normal from her side also becoz MA is first person in her life to consider her as a person with feelings so yes according to show everything is sensible.

I don’t think her love realization is rushed.. also they need to amplify her heartbreak in this track…. everytime when I felt bad for MEet Hooda seeing Meet Ahlawat obsession for Manushi … everyone reminded me that Meet Hooda is not in love and she is treating him like a friend so that’s why she is cool about it…and at any point if Meet Ahlawat wants to go back to his sister.. she will step aside gladly… but now when its shown that she is indeed in love .. then although she will still step aside but will be hurt in process… it will be a greater connect with the viewer … That’s why yesterday’s episode hit on a different note.. in the beginning of friday’s episode post MEet Ahlawat’s conversation with Daadi, he said he has to take this game to a high point now.. I thought he meant for Manushi…

in reality what he did? he took Meet Hooda’s feelings to a high point and then dropped a bomb on her … his heart may be at the right place but in all this for me he came across as a little cruel .. he did that unknowingly agreed .. but he was cruel… Love or no love ..

Meet Hooda on the other hand showed how to respond with dignity in such situations… infact its kinda jibe on another show on the same channel where after knowing her husband’s betrayal (true betrayal not the fake one ) … she was shown like a chudail with deep dark blackened undereyes .. and her heartbreak is OTT… plus they converted her into bechari abla naari within seconds… what’s with scrambling to stand on her own foot .. to get a job…

I know Twitteratis did change the hashtag but in a way, in this case, Meet did badlofy duniya ki reet… kudos for that ..👏👏👏

I too felt that the love realisation was kind of sudden. I mean Anubhaji just said once and then bang she realises!? I mean even Sunaina said so but she didnt go all dreamy suddenly.. So yes, it was to heighten the effect of the immediate heartbreak she was going to face.

Now here I might be in the minority. I dont feel Meetwa did what he did unknowingly. He fully knew what he was doing and he still went ahead because according to him it was necessary. He knew he was going to break the immense trust she shows in him and hurt her in the process. Not to mention all those promises to stay together until 60years and maybe beyond.

I was wondering ki Valentine manane ka irada thha then why all that anger and shouting on her earlier. So he first showed fake anger on her on panipuri date and later in the room because she was asking questions about Kavya and then where he was going. And he was not ready yet to give answers so to shut her up he shouted.

Valentine kyun manaya when he was going to break her heart in a few minutes? Iska jawaab tho nahi mere paas. Shaadi ke baad jaise saare rasme nibhana zaroori hota hai inko so waise hi saare events and celebrations dikhane hain makers ko, chahe sense ho ya na ho.

And I will say he too has fallen for all the good qualities in Meety. Slowly and steadily. Manushi was a hurtful past and it did keep rearing its head and brought all the hurtful memories but he wants to be with Meety. His demeanor doesnt show much love but i feel within him, its there in his care, in his support of her job as delivery person, in the way he wants her to feel comfortable, in the way he drops everything to hear what she wants to say, in the way he turns to her when he faces a problem, in the way he trusts her ( minus Ravi kaand ), in the way he does not look for answers even when he is terribly hurt by her ( when she promised but did not turn up at the panchayat sabha ) and in the way he feels like making it special for her ( minus the Valentine ).

Any romantic kind of attraction I think has never come up because Meety herself has shown discomfort so far. And subconsciously, he never wants to make her uncomfortable. Even a mere touch without any romantic intentions on his part actually produced a certain discomfort which Meety showed. I think once she starts showing some signs of attraction which he starts reading, Meetwa will not be far behind. In fact aage aa jayega according to me. And for this, Meety has to fall in love first.

totally agree he was cruel no matter what the reason was

and i feeling this is setup for next track till now meetH was understanding but even after knowing that he did this kand for her she will not make herself vulnerable again in his love till now she was dheet for her relation but now its time to see how dheet is meetA

yes meety discomfort was the reason of meetA of being on backfoot but now this track has put meetH on more stuborn zone where she will be in love but scared to be vulnerable which will put meetwa much more behind and will frustrate him to no end

Thank you for writing this. I mostly agree with what you have written. Just will share my perspective too.

On the plan, I feel he knows that his mom doesn’t listen to opinions (we all know our family members) he openly shared his views on Meety and Manushi but she didn’t listen. He is not the kind who will walk out and live separately, neither is meety so he has to make it work. And this can only happen if Babita herself realises her mistake without others feeding it to her. Meety has clearly said she won’t leave him unless he wants her to leave so it had to go to this extreme to make her take the tough decision and voice it out too. Only this can make Babita realise her mistake.

On why he celebrated, I feel he was over manushi in HM phase, it was disgust later of realising what kind of human he initially fell for. He already has seen her worst side. And he is genuinely a nice guy so he is bound to feel bad of falling for a person as low as manushi. He also realised how flawed his idea of outer beauty was and he himself said meety is pure from heart. He always wanted a wife like his mother and the fact he is going to such a length to show his mom that meety is the right partner for him proves he is over that initial view. He knows what matters in life and is now trying to open his mom’s eyes.

I don’t think he considers her just a friend, I feel he has already fallen hard, the crush on manushi is long over. One never plays games with the one they really love so manushi’s standing in his life is clear. At the same time I feel he knows the real meaning of love now, and loves meet but in his mind he also thinks she doesn’t love him (they might twist it and show he knows her love but I doubt). For him rose day was special so he took her for a date, he got angry as he was preparing her for the bigger bomb he was planning to explode. He genuinely wanted to celebrate Valentine with meety so the elaborate preparation and he did celebrate only with her, rest was execution of plan.

So I am clear now the guy is totally in love but will voice it only when things are clear.

On hurting meet, he doesn’t know yet that she loves him, he knows she is a very strong person and to make her decide to leave him, he has to go to extreme. He was apologising earlier as well. He has also seen her taking a lot in and still going on so he started with minor fights but knows it won’t break her. Yes it hurts a lot to see the track but they both are doing what they think is right for the other and that is the beauty of this track.

How will this go from here: after so much planning he won’t walk the ramp with Manushi as his bride that is clear, so to make meet walk with him things will either have to be fully exposed before, so she does walk to save the show or will reach a point where manushi again runs away. If they want to expose Manushi fully then that’s what will happen and meety will step in to save the show. Otherwise they might show manushi teaming with Kunal and running away, can even add her running away with show related expensive jewellery.

I feel the difference from now to after will be meety will go back to treating this as responsibility and lock the feelings for sometime. And now he will have to do something to win her love. Ok this is what I would like to see 😊

Thank you Neha for sharing another perspective so beautifully. I would also like to add my views here and why I think so.

1. For me the realisation was not rushed but unexpected though.

When RV asked, ot was the ques first time, and she was not in fear of losing him too till then toh itna effect nahi hua. Fir all the challenge and all happened when she realises how imp he is for her.

Sunaina and Isha saying her was not impactful for her much because they already keep teasing them and waha toh HM dress and all that kaand happened.

But her mother saying such a thing would be obviously more imp for her. If my mother who never does that anyone would say me that I am in love would be a very big deal for me. And there was the lipstick reasoning provided too. 6 mahine toh ho hi Gaye, itne v jaldi nahi huwe.

2. MA's intentions may be in the right place but still his actions were not. I mean yes he wants to do it to keep her with him and all and also making efforts. It was good to see making great efforts for her. Kya kyun plan kar rahe hai and he wants to serve two purposes ye sab toh pata hai, but it was not a good plan.

Ye toh show wale hi dikhayenge aage whether he is already in love or is just on the path to almost fall. It doesn't matter much because as I already said for them it was an arranged marriage, and he now has moved on and began to see his whole life with her, values her and the relation and is also making efforts no doubt. So whether he fell for her or not already is not much to be blamed or used to justify or criticize his actions yesterday.

3. MA was still cruel whatever his intentions were .

I mean on the surface and on paper it is a perfect plan but practically it is not. Since it is a show everything might fall into place but it was not a correct step in reality.

Right now his focus should be on getting the papers and expose Manushi. It was not needed to kill two birds with one stone by being so harsh.

Yes for him it is imp for his mother to wholeheartedly accept his wife and ye v Karo but it was not an immediate need. Ye jo jyada imp hai ye karlo pehle i.e. expose and remove Manushi first then kuch aur way se shaanti de dikha dena MH k selflessness v. It was not the only way left.

For him the Valentine's celebration might be genuine but what he did just after was outright cruel. Isse accha toh manate hi nahi. But giving so high hopes and brutally crushing them and her trust was not the only way left to show her acchai. Because show mai it will be showed or not idk but seeing someone else in her husband's arms just after the best moment they had between them till today and coming to know it was not meant for her will be a permanent scar for any girl whether she comes to know the truth later or not. It doesn't matter whether he knew about her love or not. Because the risk is not actually worth it. See she might have suffered an accident too today and he might not have been able to get up on the car along too. Sometimes some may take drastic steps too in such situations. Thore din baad v MA could have proved MH's side. Yes he wanted to do it once but it was not a deadline provided that ek hi din mai Krna hai and all but the method he took was foolish. He himself does not realise ki kitne bade kaand kar diye usne.

Sometimes parents become too strict na for children's benefits but it may sometimes end up harming them. So here too it is somewhat like this. His intentions are very very good but its effects are harmful. Ye toh ek show hai so it might or might not be shown. But this is what it makes me feel and so sharing it.

It is a show at the end so can't expect everything perfect. However I appreciate they did find a good way to show this instead of the worst possible routes for an ITV show . And the future episodes may say a different story. So abhi tak 100% right wrong kuch keh nahi sakte. Let us wait for the episodes though. Yesterday's one was really very very good. I have watched it on repeat. It was so greatly done.
