YouTube suggested me this song yesterday. It's been so long since I had last seen it on TV and then I just went down the rabbit hole of related remakes from the same era lol.

This is such a fun remake IMO (atleast the audio ) . What are the other remakes/remixes you feel were well made?

The 90s had a gazillion good remakes and really introduced me to Golden Era music. Instant Karma almost always got it right with Bahon Mein chali aao, Hum bewafa, Aaja piya. Then there was Shaan and Stylebhai's remake of Roop tera mastana.

But my absolute favorite is Yeh Mera Dil from Shahrukh's Don. Sunidhi proved she could hold her own with the great Asha Bhosle. Again Shankar, Ehsan, Loy proved they are the masters of remakes.

SANAM has done it the best. The sound is clear and their versions really seem to respect the originals.
