For intense roles if you want good looks dancing ability and intense action than bobby deol had all three but is flop beacuse of no PR and no chaplusi maska or affairs

Ajay and akshay survived on affair talks thru 90s

Every other week some gossip was out on them in 90s

I think when we talk about intense means pure serious no smile ajay could play any type of intense roles, in action he was also one of first actors to introduce stunt based realistic action, and not only he just performed stunts but he could bring anger and emotion, akki being best when it comes to performing stunts and martial arts fight but he didn't bring out the emotion ajay could bring.

You must be blind if you think ajay can't do emotional scenes, he was rated for his emotions and serious type acting like zakhm, najayez, platform, jaan, ajay can do emotional scenes, he lacked in comic timimg which he improved over the years.
