I am in love with the concept of cottu shiVi😘🥰😍
I am hokked up to the story entirely.......
Update soonish....
I had a constant smile on my face while reading this update but I ended up teary eyed.
Reason being choti Raavi's words "Trust me, if I die, you are going to be the first to cry." Shiva doing exactly same when Raavi fainted and Raavi saying "I thought I died"
I wanted to say a lot about this particular update but I can't right now. So will edit this comment later when I will get my mind back on track.
For now the only word I had for it is Beautiful. ❤️
I loved this update a little bit more than the rest.❤️
Also, sending you all the good wishes , may god answer all your prayers.🤗
It was nice ❤️❤️
And i am eagerly waiting to know what will happen next and what did she have seen while fainting
And i loved the way all the flashbacks are shown
Soo beautiful 💖💖💖
I adore the way Young Shiva & Raavi interact; full of mischief, fun & innocence!! And I like that Raavi is not a dobi here. 😊
Shiva's desperate need to ensure she's okay, maybe his feelings were deeper all along. It's Raavi I'm confused about. Though she's spent a lot more time with Shiva, she does seem heartbroken over Dev.
As usual, loved the update!! Looking forward to the next one soonest!! ❤️
Protective shiva has my heart, the way he gets paranoid if something happens to raavi on the show makes me go all aww. But you know the cherry on the cake? Here in your story, he is worried about her emotions. Her missing radiance and smile.
This is a track i really wanted to see, what i thought i had signed up for. Shiva slowly healing a heartbroken raavi, missing her bubbly and chirpy version, being with her in every step of the journey.
The way you have combined their childhood flashbacks is simply brilliant.Thank you so much writing this. Looking forward to the next update ❤️
Hi,
I've just caught up on this SS. Cannot believe I've just managed to stumble across it.
Can I just say this is a wonderful piece. I read all the parts with awe, wonder, suspense, worry and happiness jumbled up into one big ball of feelings. Everytime I reached the end of one part the thought that crossed my mind was how can they be so oblivious and so cute and so attuned to each other, then I read the next and you surprise me yet again.
I'm hoping you update the next part soon because I have to know what happens. Does Raavi eventually get back to herself? Does Shiva manage to figure out his feelings? Does Raavi realise what her subconscious is trying to point out with all the memories too? Do they eventually fall in love? In like? I need to know!!!
You write brilliantly, so please keep posting more. Looking forward to reading this!!
PS: what's your name if you don't mind me asking 😊😊
Next update fast plsss
Aww Chapter 5😍
Shiva is falling for her deeply and his reaction when she fainted says it all ❤️
Yet another lovely interaction/memory from their childhood. How is that Shiva temembers every interactionn/fight of theirs I am love with this Shiva mote than the cannon Shiva ❤️ But when little Raavi said that he would be the first one to cry if she ever dies, was heart wrenching to read 😭 It almost came true when she fainted in the store in the present time and Shiva was there to hold her at the right time and his emotions were same as what little Raavi had mentioned in the past, it came true!
As for Raavi, she smelled something strong, is it his Tel masala that brought her back to life? Anyway can we have little more insight into Raavi’s mind now. I know the girl went through a trauma of getting rejected by the guy who she thought love her as much as she did but she should start realizing that Shiva was the one by her side always right from young age❤️
Eagerly waiting to read the next part
Chapter 6 Shiva ki Chipkali
Death
A word which terrifies everyone, no matter how rich, no matter how poor, there was hardly anyone who could see past the end of life, and death was something that always took more than it gave.
And Raavi felt it that day, she felt death right at the doorstep, she could see herself slipping away towards the light and what seemed like afterlife. She wanted to die the other day, the wedding day, that was the reason she had gone to the hill, that was the reason she walked all the way up barefoot, that was the reason she sat on the edge of the wall.
Of course she wanted to die, what else could be worst than having the love of your life marry someone else on the day you were about to marry them. What could be the biggest slap than watching them marry and see your dreams shatter in a second.
Nothing.
Hence, Raavi had gone to that hill, away from the heartbreak, away from the chaos at home. To get some peace, maybe even rest in it. But the entire thing went haywire when Shiva, the biggest idiot, gadheda, doba and bandar also landed there and somehow convinced her to not jump. She was not in her senses, she was clearly out of her mind because she never wanted to die this way. Maybe die for her love, but not die for someone else's.
He then touched that one memory which created a domino, that one memory created a ripple, touching all the other memories alongwith it and she broke down, more crying on her miserable state than the wedding.
And then the worst happened.
They hugged.
If that was not worst, Raavi did not know what was. How could she hug Shiva? And how did Shiva hug her? He hated affectionate stuff, pushed her away whenever she stepped closer, pulled her hair instead of caressing it, held her wrist instead of holding her hand and out of everyone, she was comforted by him.
She knew she was wrong in thinking about dying, but she felt like she had no other way. But now when she actually felt like death, when she fainted in the Pandya Store, she could not stop crying.
She cried and cried and cried.
Prafulla sat besides her, Anita on the other side and her uncle, he was on the way to get the doctor, scared and nervous for their daughter. Raavi sobbed, as she sat on the sofa, hands covering her face as she cried, bitterly.
"Hey maara bhogilal," Prafulla had tears in her eyes when Raavi had come home crying and sick, "Raavi, mera baccha," She caressed her hair, "bata toh de, hua kya hai?"
But Raavi only cried, Anita hugged her from the side, "Raavi, please, tere Anita dii ko toh bol de?"
"I am sorry," Raavi said, sniffing and sobbing, as she uncovered her face and met Prafulla's concerned eyes. "I am so sorry," She held her ears and sobbed, breaking down.
"Ey Anita," Prafulla held Raavi's hand, "woh jungli suwar ne toh kuch nahi kiya na mere Raavi ko." She asked Anita, really upset seeing Raavi this way, "he always teases her and troubles her and she cries, is he the one who made her cry?"
Anita shook her head, "No, in fact, Shiva saved her from falling." She said as Raavi sobbed, "but afterwards, Raavi just broke down and kept crying as we made our way home."
Prafulla held her head, "Raavi, tu maarna chahti hai apni massi-maa ko?" She asked the crying Raavi who shook her head, cutely as she sobbed, "toh bata de na bhai, warna main tension ke maare marr na jaau."
Before Prafulla could even finish, Raavi hugged her, crying aloud as her aunt held her, crying with her daughter.
"Tujhe meri kasam hai, bol de."
_
"Meri kasam hai tujhe, Shiva, bata de."
Shiva gulped, not meeting his sister-in-law's eyes. He knew if he met her eyes, he would be compelled to speak the truth and that was something he did not want to share with anyone. That was one of the most darkest thing that happened in his life and he did not want Dhara to also bear the sorrow with him.
His sister-in-law was really emotional and she already had the entire family to look after and worry about, he should not really add on to the mess. But it was difficult, really difficult to lie to Dhara, because she was his closest for a reason. To everyone he was Shiva Pandya, the one who gets angry easily, but to her, to Dhara, Shiva Pandya was the one who is affected easily and he loved Dhara for accepting him the way he was and understanding him.
"I know you Shiva," She held his shoulders, making him look at her instead of eyeing the floor. "You never react this way, and not even at us. Raavi behosh kya ho gayi, tu rone lag gaya, kyu?" She asked, as Shiva sighed. "Behosh thi woh, tu react aisa kar raha tha ki woh marr..."
"Bhabhi!"
Never in his life did Shiva raise his voice against Dhara, and clearly he had crossed a line here. Dhara's startled face showed that she did not expect this reaction. He shut his eyes, breathing heavily and fisted his hands. He was now even more angry on himself for raising his voice at Dhara. "I am sorry," He managed to say, "but I cannot talk about this..."
"Whatever it is, I can clearly see that you are not being yourself."
Dhara had been observing Shiva since the day of Dev's wedding, and after he had brought Raavi home, there was something about him that had changed drastically. He had not raised his voice, did not fight, did not create any unnecessary ruckus and had softened towards Raavi for some reason. And that some reason was eating him up, Dhara could see it, but she witnessed a miserable Shiva for the first time when he acted like Raavi was dying in the store from mere giddiness.
Gautam and Krish were not listening to her, Dev and Rishita were busy, and Suman was out for another week but she had to confront Shiva before it was too late.
"Kya hua hai Shiva?" Dhara held his hand, tears welling in her eyes at the pain of her beloved devar, "bhabhi-maa kehta hai na, toh itna bhi haq nahi ki tere dil ki baat jaan lu?"
Shiva let loose of his fisted hands as he turned, eyes teary, and vision blurry as he hugged Dhara, burying his face in her hair and shed a few tears before he uttered something that Dhara did not think would happen.
"Raavi wanted to kill herself, bhabhi," Shiva cried, hugging Dhara who was now shell-shocked, he sniffed, not knowing what he should do of this bubbling storm inside him. "Raavi shaadi ke din, marne gayi thi bhabhi, aur main nahi hota toh shayad..."
And while Shiva held Dhara, crying, the latter found it difficult to console him because the thought about Raavi, her sweet Raavi, the girl who grew up in front of her eyes, the girl who addressed her as her elder sister, dead, lifeless and gone, scared her.
Dhara broke the hug, shaking her head, "Shiva, kya keh raha hai tu?" She was mad, angry and upset, "this is not a joke,"
"It is not, bhabhi." He wiped his tears, for the first time not feeling embarrassed for shedding few tears. "And ever since that night, I have been getting nightmares, for a week straight." He explained his state of mind, troubled by the horror he had to witness every night. "Every night I slept, I'd get a nightmare of Raavi being dead, laying lifeless in front of me, gone." He said, angry as he fisted his hands, "and I could do nothing as she lay dead." He was angry, but on whom, he had no idea.
Tears welled in Dhara's eyes, getting such horrendous nightmares, especially of someone's death was not an easy fight. She looked at Shiva, as he punched the wall in sheer anger. "Bhabhi, main aapko bata nahi sakta kitna dard hota hai mujhe, har baar, whenever I see her dead in my nightmares, I feel heartbroken, I feel like I have lost everything and that nothing can ever be the same again." He wiped his tears from the back of his hand, "kuch rishta nahi hai mera uss Maami ki Behen ki Beti se, par pata nahi kyu, usske marrne ki baat se kaap jaata hu main. Darr jaata hu ki ye chipkali kahi sach main mar jayegi toh mera kya hoga?" He spoke, aloud, and Dhara heard him intently, tears spilling on her cheeks. "I never liked her, hated her in fact, but every time I woke up from those nightmares of seeing her dead, I have woken up and cried like a small baby." He stated, confused and in despair as he ran his hands through his hair in frustration. "Issiye uske aage peeche ghumta hu, taaki woh kuch kar na de..."
He paused, his chest felt heavy yet again as he remembered the incident in the store today, shaking his head. "Aaj usse behosh dekha toh laga ki shayad mera bura sapna sach ho raha hai and main darr gaya," Shiva gulped, his knuckles now ached because of the punches. "I went through everything I felt in my nightmares, even worse, I felt like I was dying bhabhi." He looked at Dhara who was also sniffing, in awe with her strong but naive Shiva, "main kya karoon bhabhi? Meri help karo please." He pleaded, joining his hands and Dhara hugged him, calming him down and in the same time feeling guilty for the state of Raavi.
"I don't want her to die," Shiva said, as he sniffed, hugging Dhara, "I do not know why, but she cannot die. She just cannot."

Raavi could not hold it anymore as she stated about that night to her family. She narrated how she ran away not to get some alone time, but to drown in the lake, and how she did not want to return to this heartbroken life. She cried all the while, holding her ears and explaining how she was not in her senses but she did not want to live either. And that it was Shiva who had saved her, and if he was not with her, she would for sure not be here, hail and hearty. In a way, she owed this new life to him because he saved her from that night and that horrible thought.
And when she felt like she was actually gonna die in the store today, she realised what horror death really was and how lightly she took it.
Prafulla and Anita were both in tears when they heard Raavi's tale and it affected Prafulla the most, because even if Raavi was not her daughter, she loved her just the same. She cried with Raavi, but held her arm, "how could you?" She asked, teary eyed, sniffing and sobbing, "ek baar bhi tune apni massi ke baare mein nahi socha?"
"I am sorry," Raavi replied, holding her ears, and hugging her massi-maa, "I am sorry. I promise I will never take any such step again."
And after a good crying session of an hour, they had reconciled, forgiven Raavi for being impulsive, and thanking Shiva, especially Prafulla. She for the first time thanked her Bhogilal for giving them Shiva without whom Raavi would not be here with them. She wiped Raavi's tears lovingly and after another hug and an angry lecture, she left to go cook some of Raavi's favourite so that the grief-stricken girl could eat something.
Meanwhile, Anita helped her gulp some juice, sitting with her throughout. "You feeling better?" Anita asked, caressing her hair, "I'll get you water."
"Anita dii," Raavi held her sister's hand, "aap se baat karni thi."
"Bol na,"
"Aisa kehte hai ki aapke antim waqt mein," Raavi placed her head on the window, eyes teary as Anita heard her, "jab aap marne wale hote ho, toh aapko aapki life flashback mein dikhti hai ya aap jinse bahut pyaar karte ho, woh aapke samne dikhte hai." Raavi held Anita's hand in both her hands, "jab main store mein giri thi, toh mujhe aisa laga ki main marne waali hu."
"Raavi..."
"Nahi, dii, mujhe sach main aisa laga," Raavi gulped, "and main jinn se bahut pyaar karti thi, woh sab bhi dikhe... Mom-Dad, massi-maa, massa-paa, aap, Dhara dii, Gaumbi aur..."
"Aur?"
"Aur Shiva dikha."
"Shiva?" Anita straightened up, shaking her head, "you mean Dev dikha..."
"Nahi, that is what is eating me up," Raavi spoke softly, making sure that her massi would not hear this. "I did not see Dev, not once, but I saw Shiva, and I had a conversation with him too."
"Conversation?"
The black lights zoned out as Raavi saw all the colours zooming in and out, and then she her family, smiling at her, Dhara and Gaumbi, waving at her and just when she thought she was dead, she found a hand towards her and she took it.
She was seated on what looked liked a wooden bench, the same kept outside a chai shop. And with her was Shiva, raising his eyebrows at her.
But he was not the man-sized, beard and peanut brain Shiva, he was the ten-year old, frizzy hair and cute smile Shiva who sat next to her, smirking.
"Main marr gayi kya?" She asked, looking at herself, while Shiva was a kid, she was herself, fully grown Raavi with her hair left open and dupatta the color of the pink sky. "Where am I?"
"Ey chipkali," Little Shiva chuckled, pointing his finger at her, "har waqt natunki karti rehti hai, sudhar jaa abh toh, badi ho gayi hai."
Raavi frowned, narrowing her gaze at the kid and held his finger in her hand. "Dekh, tu Shiva junior hai aur main Raavi senior..."
"Toh kya hua?" He tilted his head, and held her hand, "rahegi toh tu Shiva ki chipkali, meri Raavi."
"Par hum hai kaha?" She asked, confused, "bata na, main marr gayi kya?"
"Ey Maami ki Behen ki Beti," Shiva Junior scoffed, now standing up and facing her, "Shiva Pandya ke hote hue Raavi ko kuch ho hi nahi sakta."
"Kyu," Raavi looked at the little swagger Shiva, holding his shoulders, "hai piddy jitna, but baatein toh aise kar raha ki khud hi bhagwan ho."
"Bhagwan nahi," Shiva shrugged her hands off him, "but Shiva hu, aur tu meri chipkali. Teri puch pakad ke kheech lunga apni taraf, kuch bhi nahi hoga tuje." He smiled, as she looked at him. "Abh bhaav khana bandh kar, aur ye kha." Little Shiva forwarded Raavi the slices of raw mangoes.
"But issmein toh na namak hai na mirchi." Raavi complained and Shiva chuckled.
"Smell toh le," He asked Raavi and Raavi did what was told, sniffing the raw mango slices and the smell of spices awakened her senses and she woke up in Shiva's arms.
In a flick of a second, as she opened her eyes, the Shiva was transformed into her Shiva, the present one and she sighed. She was not dead. And Shiva was with her, just as he promised.
"Help me Anita dii, mujhe kuch samaj nahi aa raha."
