F isn't older but he's taken the role of older sibling. In fact it's been forced on him since he's really young, and that explains a Lot about his immature ideas about love. He's been dedicated to his family unconditionally since a child, imagine growing up with that pressure... Expectations of a man like KSV. For him, love seemed like a magical state which would give him respite from everything. And to achieve that bliss, almost everything was fair.

Would he have met tejo if not for Jasmine tho? I guess meeting someone like Tejo would be kinda worth it. His only regret would be ema and the pain he caused to tejo. Baaki cheekhti chudail became the reason he met Tejo, and he still can't believe that she loves him.

Well put! And they need to properly show it as a scene to make TRP audience also understand this and also give more weight to his redemption.

Fateh's whole of idea of love was what is exactly wrong with most of youngsters today, all flowery, superficial and too fast. And so short sighted. Add to that the idea of beauty. So conventional. They can so beautifully address this through this changed Fateh. It does come across in many scenes as an undertone but they need to create a meaningful moment out of it nonetheless.

Edit: And all this independent of Jassu being good or bad. That's the whole point.

I absolutely hate the first montage , I always felt like pulling Tejo away from the heartless pole she was hugging , even now I feel the same seeing it🤢

Also, I suddenly remember this scene in Lakshya (movie way ahead of it's time) where HR asks PZ what is it that she sees in him that she loves him specially considering how focused and capable she is and how directionless he is. Then she tells him he is a good person and he means well always. He is pure and honest. Then he realises Oh yeah! I am 😆 Never thought about himself that way till she pointed out.

Now Tejo and Fateh need something of this sort to boost their morales. Tejo telling him she always saw the potential in him to be a better person and he proved it and Fateh telling he was always attracted to her because she is beautiful inside out and what's inside attracted him more than J's beauty but he wasn't evolved enough to accept it. Tejo made him a better person,now Fateh needs to repair Tejo's certain sacrifical traits.
