Not luck but connections!! The kind of compromises the actors and actresses have to do!! Shivangi in her one interview literally told how a producer tried to trap her in casting couch!! Agar talent ki kadar hoti to ITV aur Bollywood k hal yeh nahi hoti!! Is there a single actor in ITV or Bollywood who can give legendary performances!! Regional TV stars and film stars manages to give perfomances sometimes which almost baffles you that how is this even possible!! When the whole industry is filled with S#x, drugs, corruption and black money do you really think that industry will ever progress!!

Really shivangi ne aisa bataya tha iv mein it,s really sad may be maine ye iv miss kar diya so i dont know about it and yes itv or Bollywood me toh ye sab chalta hai or talent ki kadar nahi hai or wo hi same ghisi piti stories hain itv shows ki tabhi toh international level pe koi recognition praise nahi milti only saas bahu drama kitchen politics ema hi chalte hain whole itv mein ab aise shows Kaun dekhega jab hum India me rehkar hi jhel nahi pate or ye hi reason hai ke aajkal youngsters online Turkish Korean shows dekhne lage hain bcs unke bahut se shows world-famous hain actors ki performance bhi achi hai or storyline bhi agar itv me bhi aise different storyline plots ke sath shows bante or talent ki kadar hoti toh itv bhi progress karta but yahan toh itv bus trp aunties ko khush karne mein hi satisfied hai baki kisi baat se koi lena dena nahi hai

Exactly!! Look at the American shows or Korean Dramas or Turkish dramas!! They are world famous especially KDramas are now hitting ball out of the park, Even Korean Film industry and music industry is world famous like Kpop!! Comapre to that where are we? Nowhere!! Indian shows are content for international youtubers for roasting and making fun off!! Bollywood after Bahubali was unable to make any single film which would make mark internationally whereas regional films are now basically representing India!! Such is the sad stature of Hindi TV and film industry!! Now with Gehraiyaan promoting EMA as justification for boring marriage and Gangubai Kathiawadi promoting the life story of a Brothel madam and a gangster who may have exploited counted innocent girls for her own financial and political gain and films are made on her life!! Is this kind of film we are going to show the world!!

The thing is no matter how talented u are as an actor and no matter how selective u are for good roles/content, u kinda end up grabbing whatever comes your way for financial stability. Even if Chiku ends up in a few months, he has caught Gul Khan’s attention and will be in her entourage. This signifies he will be most probably be selected for any upcoming shows from her production house. I’ve heard she likes to recast her hot male leads.

As Manisha stated, I also expected him to grab some bigshot south movies but alas.

I guess both Saishi need to build their portfolios and slowly go upwards.

Personally , I don’t think i’ll watch chiku (perhaps only his entry scene) but I wish him all the best.

It kinda hurts admitting that even if they get amazing projects in the future, nothing can surpass the beauty of RR mansion :((

@bold …So True…it kinda hurts to see him taking up a show at lesser popular time slot and a low rating show than his previous outing…chickoo rating is less than what MHRV had it at its worst phase at 5:30…

And what is hurting more is newbie actors landing with new projects at better time slots, be it the lead of the show replacing Vidrohi, the 7pm show lead, Pravisht guy, all these ppl are new comers…compared to them Sai and Shivi deserve better because they have proved themselves already…

It’s completely unfair on the part of the channel to offer new shows at a better time slot to newbies and give Sai a 6pm show supposedly running on Extension…

I will be dead honest, I can reason this out only if he has taken this as a stop gap arrangement to meet his financial commitments and he already has a better project coming up in future…otherwise I don’t see this as a wise choice…

Regarding watching the show, well I can’t connect to a show if the lead pair and their characters doesn’t click for me…here the story doesn’t look appealing and above all the leads look mismatched…it’s not working for me at least for now….

@bold 1: Yesterday, when I was just speculating, I reasoned myself that there’s no way he will choose a low-trp-dead-time-slot show. He definitely doesn’t deserve to worry about ratings once again. Its just a matter of time it goes off air. They r literally bringing him as a last desperate attempt to save the show!!

Chiku is a step back for sure. However, it will keep him in the radar. Short time hi sahi, visibility to milega along with money + act a a stepping stone to enter Gul Khan’s universe lol. Im sure he’ll grab her upcoming show after this.

@ bold 2: I think both him & us expected lots of big offers to pour in after mhrw went off-air. Unfortunately, life isn’t fair and u gotta do with whatever opportunities u get. Why does less talented and less good looking actors end up with better projects :(

& bold 3: YES yes same girl! *virtual hug* I have some basic requirements that I need before I give a show a shot:

• (1) Good looking pair ( Tall , sharp looks , the whole package plz! Im that shallow🙂. God I hate mismatched pairing.(Example: the typical short googly eyes girl with a hunk etc etc)
• (2) Pair that can act
• (3) Pair needs to have a scorching chemistry
• (4) Story has to be good

A show needs to pass every aforementioned steps (snif like mhrw). If one of the point is missing, its a no no . I wont be watching if the content is good but the pairing is meh OR if the pairing is gorgeous but has zero chemistry. ..etc

I know its super suoerficial but im wired like that; it is what it is. 😂
