No ghee on rotis

Is this my dad? Because he used to mix amla/apples/carrots for morning. Apparently it helps with blood regulation. I was sceptical af but i had it once too and boom, blood problem magically disappeared.

We don't put sugar in our teas here because he's diabetic and i just... got used to it. Wr have lots of brown sugar here. Ghee very sparsely used and adults barely take white sugar. Tbh, once you stop using, after a long time, you dont want to use it anymore. I've been coffee free for 1 1/2 years so yeah....

What does he do with the brown sugar and nuts, if you don't mind me asking?

Nice good he takes of his health. Most people that age find it tough. I don't buy white sugar at all. 12 years now.Once a year diwali pe indian sweets khati hu. I also have amla ya karela juice. Basically avoid processed food. I don't like coffee. Chai lover hu but don't have it often. When i do i use pure honey or cane sugar to sweeten it lightly. Once u quit something over time it gets easier.

lol idk the thing he makes seems really vile...amla, couple herbs and god knows what.

Boiled veggies in lunch.

Nobody is dibetic, but I've developed a specific taste in tea, very spicy, and sugar too.

In india brown sugar isnt that much of thing, we have shakkar here which kinda is like brown sugar except brown sugar seems too crystallized. shakkar has a softer texture.

I love ghee...i dont eat it really, but if it didnt have calories, rotis dipped in ghee are my favorite (i used to take ghee in a katori, microwave it, and dip roti in it)

I dont think i can live without tea coffee...like dont give me anything to eat entire day, cool but i need a mug of tea or coffee in the morning.

Lol why would i mind. See i wrote it a lil bit wrong...idk whether gur is available there or not? i think its called jaggery, cant be sure. So he takes nuts, sesame seeds etc slightly toasts them and then melts the jaggery and mixes it. it's like peanut chikki you get in market, BUT he prefers to make his own, with his choice of nuts and stuff.

The dude is hot but I'm just laughing at his expressions.

But, that's the funniest scenes in UD. Like why would a villain rip the hero's shirt...that's just absurd!

Oh that's why he takes so much care... he has seen his colleagues, friends getting ill, sometimes even heart attack, having heart surgeries, but not maintaining a proper lifestyle. He does not want that. Also he's a very independent streak, doesn't like to bother anyone so he tries to take care of his health as much as possible... so we wont be troubled.

Oh god!! my friends tell me I've a healthy lifestyle... and I feel like a drug addict compared to you people😳

Sesame seeds + jaggery is really good for bloody circulation. My mum used to keep a whole jar of these things in her house apparently (i too do this now lol)

Only thing, shouldnt take too much if you're a woman because it makes you bleed A LOT. So yeah, its very medicinal. But it's verrrrry tasty

I dont really like nuts so 🤭

We have milo here, idk if can get there, but here's something i really cant live without

We can get a few different types of sugar here, brown, palm sugar, jaggery,

Palm is darkest, but also kinda bitter sometimes??

Boiled veggies...i dont mind as long as theyre salted. Dad used to have some medical issues so he used to have them like that... no salt.

Herbs and amla??? Nope just nope. I hate amla. I dont mind the apples/carrot but amla is disgusting.

Roti and ghee 😛 i try to douse my thosai in it whenever i get the chance but now my mum mixes it with oil so no more doing that ☹️

...

All this talk is making me hungry lmao

I love karela too. Idk why most people don't like it. I don't juice it, but I'll eat it any other way.

Agree, once you get into routine, its pretty easy to follow. Only initial stage is hard, but after a while you'll be used to it.

I'm just feeling ashamed...! Someone so younger than me has such a nice balanced diet...

oh... there's this thing called 'paath'...idk if it's just a regional thing or there are versions of it... basically it's melted gur with dry fruits...its so delicious. it's mostly made for women post pregnancy, for a few months. havent had it in a few years, but just the best thing

oh i love nuts...almost every one of them

No...no boiled veggies. i wish i could eat them...but na... I love spicy sabzis.
