As I see the parallels, I feel more and more disgusted towards V. It’s painful to watch that Anu had to go through the worst but fulfilling to watch her receive the best now.

This is why I get so bothered and frankly pissed when people say Anupama doesn't deserve Anuj & say things like she deserves only Vanraj and deserves to suffer more. I mean common thats just really harsh, and i am sorry inhumane.. and why would you wish that for anyone, esp Anupama who has suffered so much because of him. Just because Anu isn't at loggerheads with Vanraj every single day (also cuz he is her children's father & has to deal with him all her life), that doesn't mean she deserves to go back to that hell.

Even though Anuj is my fav chr & only started watching the show after his entry, I will say this - If anyone deserves Anuj's unconditional and devotional love, then its only Anu. And Anu didn't come into Anuj's life... Anuj came into her life & she deserves every bit of the happiness & love Anuj brings in her life.

Its really heartbreaking to see the way she was treated by V.... and always heartwarming to see the way she is treated by Anuj...

She has endured 25 years of pain and torture and now I really wish all these memories, each and every one of these will be erased by Anuj's love..

Seeing the 2 men's behaviour juxtaposed in this way emphasises V's vileness even more starkly!

I have seen the serial on and off. So am aware of all this..and trust me that's why people like me are more hurt when we see Anupama defending Vanraj as achcha beta, pita or not Ghatiya Insaan..

That's why for us... Vanraj ke paap ka ghada bhar gaya hai..and we can't see him winning even if it's for small time..

I said same in Sunny thread, it's not just Vanika cringe.. its the pile up, baggage of Rinse-Repeat and that too via Anupama herself which has got me so riled up this time.

This is why, I hated when in hospital Anupama told Vanraj about Anuj. when she planned Baa wedding with him..I remember I had created a topic here that time, I was new then.

And somewhere this is why, I as viewer really love and appreciate Anuj and can't see him losing to Vanraj this time. .let's be honest, even Anuj has been shown to lose to him in small ways so far.. like Bhumi Pujan, Mumbai trip and so on. For Anu and her gharonda he was always quite and still is..

This is why, I can't take Anu blind love, devotion, loyalty and responsibilities to Baa and Tamashah house..

Only difference is earlier it was serial and I never bothered much.. I recall during Pakhi bday when she and Vanraj were live-in with Kavya..it was bad track and we just didn't see for a week...it didn't mattered.. I was true TRP viewer then..

Now, Thanks to Anuj I got obsessed and all these things have started to bothered.

Obsession kisi se bhi ho..bura hota hai..aaj samajh aa gaya.

Anupama defending the indefensible is the most nauseating thing to watch. I have watched the serial from the beginning and it was the feeling of outrage on her behalf that got me interested. The makers had done an excellent job in drawing on that feeling and feeding it with well timed nuggets of Vanraaj's two facedness. You could see then that Vanraj's comeuppance was imminent and that would then signal a new phase in Anupama's life. That is what I hung around to watch.

Oh well, such is life in telly land. If it weren't for the fun folk here, I don't know I'd be watching as regularly.

wow wow wow this thread. all these comparison videos, thank you for sharing. I have not seen the show from beginning but whatever I saw after GK joined, I could imagine what trash this trashraj would have been earlier!

This comparison bits proves why audience is crazy for Anuj and rightfully so.

This as brought back so many bad memories of how one man treated a piece of furniture (Anupama) even the furniture received more kindness, you could see the pain clearly in Anupama’s eyes but she had no one to turn to because Samar was not in a position to understand how badly his father in true sense is and the treatment of expose to be shown in front of is eyes and Bapuji was name only because he could not stand up to the son or the mother.

The difference when Anuj came into her life was a breath of fresh air, he once said that she should be treated as a queen and that is exactly what he as being doing, all kind effects of words, encouragement, listening, treating her equal as brought the smile once losted back into her eyes.

How sweet is Anuj Kapadia, he is only one person but the impact he as brought as the character Anuj Kapadia is heaven and everyone wants a Anuj Kapadia in her life.
