That was exactly my thought. It doesn’t make any sense. If his wife is having an affair/now married his friend, how is Sai involved in all this. If his wife cheated on him, V cheated on Sai. And if he believes this how would kidnapping Sai be a revenge on Virat. It would be none of his concerns. For revenge it needs to be something that matters to V and his Ex definitely doesn’t fall into that category.
