He and Malini are the same that way. Although she does have some level of awareness of reality and manipulates people, Aditya straight up doesn't see reality.
Unlike Malini, I do think his redemption is possible, but he would have to lose everything he holds dear. His worst fears would have to come true. AryLie will happen and Aditya will lose his journalist identity. Possibly when the truth comes out about Arvind's death. It's at that point, when he has hit his truest rock bottom, and when he sees himself and his actions that he will have his first moment of clarity.
