ae dil hai muskil is way better in term of emotion , tum hi ho is a disturb feeling song, the lyrics are romantic , but the way it has been sung is depressed feeling, dont know it fall in a romantic song category or sad song category 🥱

I think that's the best part about the song...that you can't classify it!!!

The ambiguity lends it a charm!!!

And if you see the movie, the song fits in perfectly with the context!!!

It has lovely lyrics with appealing tune

Arijit is an amazing singer, sure, but I'm so not a fan of this song .... too much pressure on me if a guy sings "hum tere bin ab reh nahi sakte, tere bina ab kya wajood mera?" to me in that melancholic tone. Was the hero crying or about to cry during that song? I don't know, I haven't watched the entire movie.

The song always sounds like "i'm about to kill myself but I'm hanging by a thread JUST because of you" to me and that instantly makes me wanna reshuffle!

But sure it is a romantic song for people with obsessive love disorder I guess.
