His previous show Bepannaah started off well with an interesting concept, which was supposedly to the liking of the "elite" taste, but that show too went down the drain in a matter of weeks. And Aditya Hooda's character was also butchered very well. Oh, and the snake in the varmala, with the most unrealistic post-marriage plot and scenes which were as cringe as any other show.

Harshad is more than happy working with DKP and Rajan Shahi, and this is evident in his replies to the producer on Instagram and his interviews. No use in fans becoming career advisors of actors or judge them for their choices in life.

Or well, fans can say anything they want. The show doing well will only do good for Harshad, irrespective of whatever over-the-top things they show. Honestly that's all that ITV does in every single show.

And no, Harshad's popularity isn't stemming from his previous show Bepannaah. He had a dedicated fan club on India forums right back in 2007, and was very popular as Cadet Ali Baig in left right left. With veterans in that show, and an ensemble cast, he was still able to get himself noticed along with a sizable group of fans then too. That was ground level popularity without twitter or insta or social media in the picture.

I agree with you, I started watching this because of HC ,I loved his previous works so I was eager to see him again, I am a bong so the og serial ichhe nodee was known to me, so I was really surprised that why Harshad chose this

Then I read his interview about this project, he was promised a new show not continuation, his character seemed promising at first, and he mentioned that he works when his bank balance becomes to a certain amount, so these were his reasons joining the show.

But I don't know why the makers butchered the character and made the cool sorted renowned doctor to insane crying begging mess with toxicity

The character assassination was so severe I don't know how they are going to bring the redemption and some scenes are really bad,like operating akshara, nothing can redeem them as they were beyond repair, it felt like so illogical and far from reality that it was downright funny, we don't expect much from TV shows (logic wise) but some scenes were legit horrible

I don't know how HC justifies keep doing this stupidity every single day, that's why he trolls his character mercilessly in the interviews because he is quite witty and I am sure making fun of the baseless story only keeps him going 😉
