You should just like that paste the link..

Not like u upload the images in that image selection

Alternatively look at the link Icon (Between Colored Font and Smiley). Paste the copied link to both the boxes and click outside

i tried once from tenor.com ..the moment i pasted gif ..my account got blocked...i dont know how i forgot everything here ...2017 i knew everythig 😆even that time youtube links never works by copy nd paste still i able to post links ...but after few years gap i completely forget
