Arohi - you made me fall asleep today!

I was feeling like yawning when Arohi was saying those dialogues about breaking relations with Akshu. Since season 3 started she has said those dialogues a gazillion times. Every time askshra has moved or turned it done anything in a way that displeased Arohi, she has said you only hate me you take everything from me you don’t want me to be happy omg 😴😴. The Goenkas were looking so sad about it, this is the way they always look when even for not getting the pencil Arohi has rejected Akshu, and why Akshu felt she had to keep keep keep sacrificing.

Also in yesterday episode her tirade at Akshu for being useless, not educated enough etc. The insulting way in which she belittles Akshu constantly started from the very first episode of Season 3. She’s done it both when she is angry and even when she’s happy ( for example when she first met Abhi and told him how useless Akshu is) Every one of the Goenkas has let her do for so long that I do think they even notice that it’s a insult.

Arohi was talking about the insult to her ego and the reality is that is exactly what she’s been allowed to do to Akshu for more than a decade and no one has even felt sorry for Akshu.

So don’t come trying to make me have pity for Arohi. She deserves everything she got. And the lack of support for Akshu in her own family meant that such a pressure cooker situation was necessary for finally admit her love.

I agree! Arohi is allowed to get away with murder as long as it is done to Akshu. The family stands around like statues watching Arohi insult every little thing about Akshu but expect Akshu to fearlessly go against Arohi and admit her love? And fact remains that Akshu did go to meet Abhimanyu and confess her feelings but Arohi being the plotter that she is emotionally blackmailed her into backing out. And then Arohi herself ran to become Abhimanyu’s wife at the first chance she got. She more than anyone knew that they loved each other. If she herself didn’t care about her own respect and future, it makes no sense for her to blame others for ruining her life.

Not saying Abhimanyu and Akshara are completely right. Both made their own mistakes but at least Akshu’s mistakes stemmed from Arohi’s manipulations and not out of evil intentions.

I can also never feel bad for her because she literally walked eyes open into this situation and still continues to blame others without accepting her own faults first.

Yeah definitely. She blames Akshu for being an attention seeker and a drama queen but she is number 1 at both those things herself🙄

The problem is that no one stands up to her in her own family. No one tells her she is wrong ever when she attacks and insults Akshu.

Usually our character is formed not by the big and dramatic incidents that happen in our life. It’s formed by the small slights and insults and lack of support. The casual undermining, the day ti day lacked of caring about what Akshu wants. This happening over a long period of time is what has created Akshu, the sacrificial lamb today. And even with that sacrificial lamb characteristics, she can never ever seem to please her family.

Totally agree but the issue here is they’ve made Arohi’s character so ridiculously unmoving and heartless that it feels like nothing can change her. Kairav has tried twice to make her stop and understand. His attempts were weak but regardless Arohi’s superpower is to turn things around on the other person.

kairav interefers - Aap toh Akshu ki side loge. Woh apki sagi aur main sauteli behen joh thehri.

manish interfers - Haan Akshu toh apki laadli hai. Aap usko kyun galat samjhenge?

You blame her for stealing credit for everything - maine kab kaha maine woh sab kiya? Woh toj aap logon ne khud soch liya.

MD kaand - Mahima ne challenge kiya, pressurize kiya.

no matter how you deal with her, she refuses to see her mistakes because in her world she can never be wrong! I doubt her character was conditioned by the family because even as a child she was constantly demeaning Akshu and taking her things. Feels like she was born entitled and bratty.

Akshu on the other, you’ve nailed it. The way she was raised has made her the quiet, docile, sacrificial lamb and as you said the family is still not pleased.

I do feel bad for Manish and kind of agree with him but at the same time I wanted to smack him for that dialogue of his. He said something like you two have grown so much that you don’t need us anymore. We’re just like an audience watching you two run your lives and clapping or something. Fact is that is exactly what the Goenkas have been doing for years now so why is he complaining now? Because the issues have made it past the inside of their house and a private show has now turned public? Hypocrisy seems to be a Goenka family trait🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

These are the times I wish, other than Abhi, Akshu had a strong support growing up from Naira side of family! I haven’t watched the previous seasons, but I m told they were decent enough to call a spade, a spade!! Conditioned was the right word Abhi used, but I would say Bullying as another word to be used. She has been bullied all through her life and standing up to a bully is not an easy thing!! I wish these girls were brought up in a different household by less toxic statue-ppl! Kairav is on a whole different level actual idiot in this whole saga! 😡

It also shows how insecure she is. She won't admit it but the truth is she is jealous of Akshara.

She feels she has to fight for everything if she wants it. May be when she doesn't say anything the family tends to go to Akshara first. Silently she just gets certain things and for whatever reason Arohi cannot handle that.

I also find it funny that for as much as she hates on Akshara she also needs her to help cover things. If you are so great go handle things yourself. Oh, wait what happened with the M.D? Scammed 🤣 I am waiting and I want it to be known by the Goenka family that Arohi lost the 30 lakhs and didn't even get her seat at the college.

They have chosen to be the audience rather than part of the play. Being part of the play would mean saying mroe than “beta, be reasonable…” as Kairav says to Arohi. On the other than with Akshu he is - please leave this house. 😳
