Left my crush after I went to medical school. He asked me out after 5 years of will he won't he, and then when he did, I didn't care for long distance much. Used to doodle his name on my notebooks and listened to a lot of "Bin Tere" then.

Broke up with my husband while we were dating (broke up/took a break for for all of 2.5 days, I think). Tons of crying. Used to listen to "Mujh Mein Tu" while crying on the metro. Oh Lord. The embarassment now.

Also, "Kaise Mujhe Tum" because he sang it quite badly on one of our anniversaries.

I've been in only one relationship and even a 2 day break had me texting him 2-3 pages long texts. Also accused him for dating me to get my notes (he was a jock, I was a nerd). He still asks me if he's with me for my notes. 6 years later. Married. With children 😳😳

I have no idea how people deal with break ups. Seems like a talent.

Yes. I had no idea break ups hurt this much.

If you ever want to empty your heart out and talk about it, I’m always here to listen. If any essays need to be drafted, you just come right up at my PM door no matter what time. ❤️

The pain of breaking up is inevitable. I’m sorry that you have to go through with it. I promise you though, as much as it hurts now, one day you’ll wake up and realise that it doesn’t hurt as much as it did initially. It’s a slow and painful process, but it’ll pass eventually. 🤗

I have another friend who hates sending messages to her bf. He sends her long essays of how much he loves her and she just googles what to send. She even ended up sending names of people in the message a few times 🤣

Reminds me of another incident where I tried to do loyalty test on my friend’s bf by calling him from another number. But my stupid friend ended up laughing in the background 🤪

Reminds me of the movie...Mujhse Dodti Karoge....where Rani used to write letters to Hritin on Kareen'a behalf...because Kareena was so lazy😆

Last paragraph made me wonder you know how does it feel like 😆 ... don't you?

Not so much in experiencing it myself romantically, but grief is grief, no matter the type of relationship. I’ve lost many family members and like all types of pain and heartache, time helps you move on slowly. Depending on the loss, some heartaches and grief stays with you but you learn to live with it. So I was trying to implement that here lol.

It hurt like the world was ending, sky was falling and a whole lot of other equally apocalyptic metaphors. I should also mention that I was an idiot back then.

It happened so many times afterwards that it started feeling like a bug bite I could put a band aid on and go about my day.😆 We need something to describe the law of diminishing pain with every fight/breakup. And we need something to describe the law of diminishing bullshit tolerance that comes with it. 😆

I am extremely sorry to hear that, I really really am.God bless.❣️

And I guess I agree with whatever you said/described about the breakups/losses. I'd experienced breakups too but both the times it was I who broke up so I think I don't have complete knowledge of how does it feel like. Moreover, I was happy (both the times) post break up. Making it even more difficult for me to fathom someone else's pain.. 😅

Thank you love. 🤍 I think the experience is different for the person who initiated the breakup. Depending on the reason of course. But if you lose feelings for the person or realise that you’re happier without them around, then it’s much easier to let go and move on. Most of the time you’re mentally and emotionally over the relationship before it officially ends anyway. It’s the other person who isn’t ready (mentally and emotionally) to let go, which makes the process difficult, especially if the breakup was sudden and unforeseen.

Second breakup is the best way to forget the first one.
