In the most recent example, she wanted to inform Arohi and their families about their decision to be together and try to persuade them. It would created a huge furore but the heads-up would’ve let the families discreetly make some excuse to cancel the wedding and they would have the discussion privately. But Abhimanyu’s way is will have the worst familial and social repercussions on Akshara only. Yes he’s the bridegroom who jilted his bride at the mandap but now she’s going to be the selfish characterless woman who ran off with her younger sister’s husband to be.
i know we won’t agree on this, but to me most of Abhimanyu’s actions and decisions are made with his own interests and impulses in mind, and with very little thought of how they’ll affect Akshara. If he really wanted to put Akshara’s well-being first, shouldn’t he have agreed to marry any one besides Arohi? It was the most hurtful thing he could do to Akshara and he knew it.

I think if you have just let that be a poll rather than making it into an argument.

This poll also shows another picture that there are a lot of Abhimanyu supporters who are simply not vocal due to all the negativity as you put it. It's just not welcoming. They don't find it a safe place to have a discussion. I am neither a YRKKH fan or HC fan. I don't come with previous baggage of any kind. I signed up for this show because I liked Abhimanyu and Akshara in their promos.

There is a fine line between having an unpopular opinion and trolling. As a silent observer of this forum, I find that this line gets crossed a lot in this forum way too much. In the name of having an opinion.
