The makers and the channel have made a few very important creative changes in the show post Gashmeer’s exit. The future story of the show will entirely focus on Imlie. Only Imlie’s character will get prominence.

So it is finally confirmed that Gashmeer Mahajani will no longer be a part of the Star Plus show Imlie; the latest promo does not show him, so that part of the debate is sealed and delivered. There is still no clarity about the real reason as to why Gashmeer quit in the first place.

I dont fully buy the theory that he wanted to do other stuff and PH refused to play ball. This alone is not a deal-breaker. There might be more to this story; time will tell.
