If he succeeds in becoming a bada Admi using Mukku he would come crashing I the eyes of others. It would not be the conquest to pride oneself of. When he comes tumbling down there would be none to gather the pieces .

The entire time Vanraj reminding Mukku of her trauma to justify himself, I was like,

Making the best of his situation and extrapolating his case of incompatibility to make himself sound relevant to Mukku's abusive marriage 👏👏

I can assume how he must have used the similar strategy with Kavya about she being lonely in her marriage and he being lonely in his marriage 🤣

Vanraj is an interesting character to dissect. He epitomises everything that is wrong in a patriarchal society.

A little meh today so I’ll just stick to my first thought regarding VaniKa & V’s aura in the office:

I felt for Samar bc he was the metaphorical ping-pong ball btwn AnuRaj … every time Anu tried taking Samar away from the middle, V dragged him (physically and emotionally) back in. It was horrible and extremely immature of V. Once again, he was using props to hide behind.

Anu has made it clear in many instances that she won’t give any importance to V … for some people that just means seeing the good within a person without forgetting the bad. For their kids, he provided (as I have said before) their most basic needs. Given their marriage, that was satisfaction enough. Although, as she has also said, “the moment you err, I will stand directly in front of you.” His time is coming.


Circling back to VaniKa, I truly believe Mal is smarter then we’re seeing in these scenes but I truly can’t help but feel disgusted by his actions. Getting major sketch vibes. V is the type of guy that will use any chikini chupani raasta or baat to benefit. He’s the type of guy you find that seems desirable but once you get to know him …you feel like a parda has been removed. He’s not worth the hype

I think Vanraj can never change. As being selfish, dominating is his basic nature.

Kuch sanskaar hame parents se milte hain kuch ham pehle see leke aate hain. The way Vanraj has been portrayed till date , he cannot change even if he wants to.

I do not think he is a good father and claims he is taking care of his family. Which father doesn't do it?

All that matters for him is his ego his own self that's it.

Chasing $$ again to satisfy his ego to prove his capabilities. Each and every action of his is self centric.

Mukku feeds his ego that he is desirable in the eyes of a younger woman. He is absolutely shameless in exploiting her condition and nature.

He shows predatory behaviour now which is creepy.

The point which frustrates me that they have shown Anupama so bholi almost close to moorkh that she still tags him with good father and son...

Height of favoritism from makers for some characters that they are compromising on the main lead's sanity. These facts disconnect the viewer from the show.

very good ques....I feel a man can change if he really feels remorse for what ever he has done and he wants peace. The change comes in when he feels he has lost everything that is/was imp to him which he never even realized and he wants those things/people back.

I would also love to see what shaped him to be like this. Some back story into the Shah ancestors or his thoughts all along from teenage to adulthood. But I guess fandom will not be interested to see all this as his character is already established as a dense abuser!!
