Deepika’s eyes watered.A truth that she had refused to acknowledge was beginning to resurface. She shook her head. She has been doomed. Accused of an extramarital affair with a married man, protecting a doctor taking drugs. Vikrant had played with her. He used her to protect himself. Owning to her past records and the personal dislike from the CEO of the hospital, she had been removed from the hospital. She let down her guru, her mentor PC. Lost Abhay’s friendship. Her career, the dream for which she had fought with the world, struggled and worked day and night to build. She was nowhere today.No hospital would give her work. She has no one with her, no friends, no family, absolutely all alone once again. Lonely and surrounded by darkness.

She drove fast, as fast she could. She just wanted to escape somewhere she could find peace. Breathing was becoming difficult, and she felt as if she would crumble right over. She stopped the jeep and stepped out of it. She kept walking and without realizing her surroundings she reached to the lakeside and fell down with a thud. Her heart felt heavy. She trembled. She wanted to end this nightmare, the tears, the pain and everything the last few days had brought for her. She felt she could no longer bear the pain. She screamed, for as long as she could, as loud as she could. She screamed till she no longer could feel her voice, to the moment her throat pained and burnt like hell.

‘"Why?”

She said crying and breaking apart.

“Why me? What was my fault?”

She asked not knowing to whom, was it to herself, to fate, to Vikrant or was it to the one sitting up there?

“God, you know I might have made numerous mistakes but never intended to hurt anyone not knowingly at least. So why am I here in this state? What did I do to deserve such brutal punishment? Am I so bad? Was having ambitious dreams my fault? Or choosing my self-respect ten years back was my fault? Or wishing someone by my side, someone who respects and loves me? Is this too much to ask?”

She said looking up in the sky while tears flowed down her eyes, eyes which held pain and unanswered questions.

Hello guys!So I wrote this small piece out of nowhere.I am new to writing so pls pardon my mistakes.I am not sure exactly how I feel abt this piece.I do have an idea for continuing this but I am not sure. What do u guys think? Does this piece feel complete as Deepika's pov ?

Very nice! Please keep writing! I wish we got to see more of Deepika's POV on the show. It's very hard to relate to her when she gives about something then does something else. 😑

This is splendid. Do keep writing. For a moment, I thought this all happened in the episode yesterday because I am yet to watch. 😆This is really good. 👏 I wish they gave Deepika some monologues so that the audience can understand her train of thoughts a bit.
