I know right?! You can see that they basically cut all the parts that had them even closer together. Like holding hands while the flowers fell or feeding ice cream. Shame it was cut. But I hope it means they are saving it for another such scene SOON!

On a serious note, I think its because despite how progressive things are most Indian audiences still see Anupama as a mother first, rather than a lover. My 2 cents. 🤪
