Yes!! But also his frustration that he knows, that despite him saying all these things, there’s nothing going to stop him from running after her. Even when he’s upset with her, even when he knows he shouldn’t.
That he’s the one with her, that he’s the one changing for her, and she’s still constantly on about her BS. I think it definitely irks him a little. Even if he won’t admit it.

Maybe they mean that she starts the fire to prevent Imlie from leaving for PD. Like preventing her from physically going to Aditya where he is, instead of him showing up at the party.

Yeah. I reread it and it definitely reads more like Aditya is there. You’re probably right. That would explain why Anu’s been running around plotting and trying to make new friends while her daughter isn’t well.
Plus, the last thing we want is Adini at this party so OF COURSE that’s the theory that’ll come true. 🙄
I guess we wait and see how the episode plays out. Low expectations, high rewards? 🙃
