My favourite bit about this scene is when Imlie says "I also like to be in control of myself and I don't give it to anyone" she looks Aryan in the eyes to drive home her point, and then looks away and slightly nods, like "okay, I made my point".Originally posted by: lovereading14
So the entore bar scene was a sort of make - up after a fight between them. The first silent sorry of the episode was by ASR and this was Imlie's silent apology.
The control bit where Imlie spoke about what she would do if she could control ASR's life was foreshadowing. Now starts the fun part.
Aryan: "I like to be in control" āŗļø
Imlie: "I also like to be in control of myself, and I don't give it to anyone."
Then that slow but yet meaningful eye contact... it was like ASR accepted a challenge that Imlie threw at him. He had earlier said only one new year resolution can be fulfilled and he intends it on being his.
'ASR just accepted the challenge Imlie doesn't know she put forth' to quote @ charishma!
And it looked like she felt a bit, I don't know, awkward with the conversation. She was aware of his focus on her.
Ofcourse we make it fun with the H*rny comments š¤£, bc why not right? But they had a very adult conversation at that bar. No two ways about it.
