so I think, Aryan noticed Imlie was spiraling. Distracted, disattached, and ready to get lost in her feelz - Aryan grabbed her to bring her back into the here and now, into the present moment. Traditionally, and still in some media, males are shown to âslap a person (like a female) to snap her back to reality.â Obviously thatâs a huge no-no and isnât seen as romantic or empathetic anymore, so they went with a grab. They say when youâre hurt in one place, to pinch yourself in another. Confuse your brain and the pain signals.
I see this scene as that and not misplaced machismo.
On a flip side - very pain & pleasure couple we have đ¤Ł
I think they were going for that, but it still looked very ugly. Aru needed to apologise. That why they put that ghar chal song. They need to write more cohesive episodes.
Btw, does anyone know that song?

Okay, so I can see this. I honestly donât think he realized how hard heâd grabbed her. Itâs also the culmination of the rest of the day and whatâs been happening all day. Not an excuse but just saying.
The moment he realized he let go. I also think that the scene was in slow mo and it wasnât in reality as long as it was shown to be.
I thought he was going to apologize for unintentionally hurting her. I wonder if him grabbing her hand and then that look they shared was meant to be that.
That interested me, him grabbing her hand and leading her out of there like that. Reminded me of the Raj/Simran moment. And I was intrigued by how she looked at and followed him. It wasnât sadness or fear. Plus the song âchal ghar chale mere humdumâ?!?!?
But this is also them on their âtime offâ. Even thought this is a BT launch party, this is them at home and not at work, which is a very different dynamic for them. Even Aryan letâs his walls down.
So even though he brought up the boss thing, the biggest difference between their interaction here vs at the T house is that any time theyâve been at the T house itâs been work.
I really liked what you said about haq too. Thereâs something developing between these two without them realizing. And itâs going to hit them like a ton of bricks when they finally do.
That's why I want a small track with some other prospective suitor for Aru. That's the moment, BS will fly out of her head. And yes, after all the galeech things they heard on their work assignment at the Tripathis, Aru was genuinely pleased that Imlie couldn't help herself and haq jamao'd him in front of everyone.

I know Disney is problematic and I know fairytales are problematic. Beauty and the Beast was the weirdest story đ but I still love it
đđđđ
Also, can we appreciate the moment right after that scene.
Theyâre off the clock now, heâs taken her hand, sheâs calling him all the names, he reaches out to see if she has a temperature. Thereâs a moment where you see that their ideologies match. The smile and just genuine joy he feels when he sees her talking about something sheâs passionate about. How happy he is to see her fly, heâs happy to be able to offer her an opportunity to fly as long as she starts letting go of the baggage holding her back.
I low key wishes she had hugged him instead of the box lol I know itâs to soon but still lol

they (production house) have gotten the excitement and renewed interest they wanted ⌠they just donât know how to avoiding fumbling đ¤Śđťââď¸
I think more so - he needs to acknowledge her feelings verbally to her. And he needs to apologize for getting involved in her life without establishing a relationship past boss/intern & landlord/tenant. I believe her tears were of frustration and being given the mirror of her current state-of-affairs; if AryLie had a clearer understanding/personal relation (like friends, etc) then this would have been seen as cliche romance but not him overstepping đ¤Śđťââď¸đ¤Śđťââď¸
our ship just got a the yellow-to-almost-green light⌠we all are on eggshells đ

Aru's eyes today, uff. How is she not half in love with him already?
