Mukku has gone through an aggravated assault this is elevated to a domestic violence offense. Domestic violence are convoluted. It is committed against Significant other. Bodily harm is considered domestic violence since it occurred in a "domestic" setting. She was being given threats and bodily harm via physically threaten with BRUTAL bodily harm, assaults with the intent to rape be elevated to aggravated assault.

Such cases are also felonies, meaning a conviction for aggravated assault could result in a prison sentence instead of time in jail and a fine.

It is good that she is out of that miserable environment. She is back with her family and receiving moral support and courage. Good Luck!

In USA raping a wife may be crime

In india it is not

This NRI brat will come running to india

and indian laws do not recognize marital rape or domestic abuse

Police refuse to file such cases

Forget society law only does not accept it as crime

I guess hardly 1% rape cases are filed in india rest are all brushed under carpet

That 1% also 80% will not get justice

20% will get after 30-40 years

Have you not read reports have girls are raped and hanged on trees

In USA/UK it may be easy to file rape or domestic voilence case india is very tough

Many famous shows have shown

Society do not change for serial or movie

SRK Amitabh Bachchan Gaurav Khanna Rupali cannot change society they can only high light problems

Ache ghar ki auratein don't even think of taking the legal route. Only villains like Kavya use it for drummed up fake allegations, even though they have a legit case.

Malvika is not a villain. So sorry, no justice for her.
