And in fact it was Pakhi who first acknowledged it. During the Devyani track after Virat returns from GC. When Pakhi openly hinted at having feelings for him and he asked her to maintain the decorum and respect their relationship and its boundaries, she accused him off cheating her. And she claimed that he has changed because he now loves Sai and what they had was only an infatuation for him. He didn’t accept but he didn’t deny either. Thanks to his habit of never coming clean and clearing up things. So she knows the truth, but her delusional mind refuses to accept it.

The writers keep flipping on this part. Haven't followed anything consistently after Shruti entered.

In Cafe he did say that it wasn't much compared to all the time he's spent with Sai but she was his pyaari cheez for months.

Had she not been in front of his eyes, the whole episode would have been forgotten quickly. His promise to be her best friend led to the emotional attachment deepening beyond whatever happened in Yoga resort. For a while in between he definitely was emotionally attached to her till the post Devi Tai marriage reveal. What started probably as an infatuation definitely was an emotional attachment/attraction for months.

I agree. And referring to the comparison Niki made few days back...

PP may have become pure evil now but it started because of V. His vaada in the first place was wrong.

She did kindoff accepted Sai too initially. But his constant support to her unravelled PP quickly. Add to that Sai wasn't exactly a easy person to deal with. Considering the type of people in CN and Sai's completely opposite nature.

The whole issue is the non communicative approach of V. He gave a long rope to PP encouraging her and raising her hopes. That guilt of his led him to do questionable things.

And had Samrat stayed back or come back earlier things would have been much easier.

Also both Sai and V are too stubborn sometimes. And I say this because many a times it has been shown that Sai definitely feels something more for V but she hasn't even accepted it to herself, forget saying it to V. Even in the recent Diwali track, she wants to ask him but we are never shown her introspection, what would she do if he had said yes or confessed his feelings. As much as I love Sai, this is a major factor in all confusion SaiRat have between them.

Stubborness of Sai and lack of communication from V. This is why I want the confession to happen in a fight. Where in a moment of rage/frustration they blurt out.
