A good quality helmet, in good condition if worn correctly does protect from head injury in maximum number of the cases. Of course there will be a few cases where severity of the accident makes the helmet ineffective. Note the key points good quality helmet worn correctly and protection in maximum cases
But not using a helmet will result in head injury in all 100 percent of accidents where there is an impact on head.
Whether vaccination or following covid safety protocol, neither provides 100 percent safety from contracting covid.
What they do is provide a fighting chance by minimizing risk.
And both vaccination and covid protocol can only work if maximum number of people follow it.
Sooner the people understand it and follow it, sooner the pandemic will be over. Of course Covid will not vanish but it become like Flu virus. Covid Protocol and Vaccinations will provide fewer hosts for it forcing it become more milder with every mutation in order to survive. Though it will become more contagious yet it's severity will reduce because it needs to survive with fewer hosts.
Like flu virus does kill people still but very few across the world. However we don't have to shut down the world for the flu as majority survive it with medications at home.
And the only way to get there faster is vaccination and following covid protocol
good quality, I do agree, vaccines are cheap quality plus .. How many people are they wanting to vaccinate when some countries have achieved the target of 95% and above ? I dont see any difference with having almost all people vaccinated and still have to shut down borders etc..

We were never really affected by the previous waves of Covid but Omicron and our moronic govt's incompetent response has made a complete shambles of our public health system.
I work in public hospitals in Sydney and it's a complete shit-show at the moment- I finished late wanting to help my night-shift colleagues but still left them with a full waiting room. We are short staffed and running out of space.
There are so many covid patients now- there is going to be so much collateral damage because of this and most of us will probably get covid as well because a lot of our covid patients seem unable to wear their masks properly.
It's shit show everywhere.
Just read this. How people boarded the flight without proper tests and negative results? It's not like they got infected inside the plane.
It's ridiculous everywhere and I am afraid the way every day cases are rising in India. It will broadly affect our health-care system and over burden health care workers.

I know. But when you are traveling to another country, you should get tested. These negligences are burden on us.
Anyways, hospitalization cases till now are less in comparison to 2nd wave. But people having cold or fever symptoms too are testing positive. Most people are having mild symptoms. Fatigue and runny nose are common, though Oxygen level doesn't drop drastically. Some US doctors warned about skin, nail etc symptoms, but in India, patients haven't shown these symptoms. Though the sudden surge of cases are mainly covid 19, but omicron isn't far behind.

😆.. I have 3 masks where 2 of them is too big for my face and only 1 fits, anyway I wear 1 mask for months, wash and then another one for months, wash etc, neither i eat healthy or considered fit .. Plus i have been going out to crowded malls, restaurants, mosques, government hospitals, i have been travelling in public transports, meeting relatives, having get together etc .. And I dont even sanitize or carry sanitizer.. With that logic, I have gotten covid but Alhamdullilah we are fine. I cant see how this is the only measure that is working?
Just a suggestion.. don't reuse your mask on daily basis! You may not got covid but might get other infections. There were reports about unhygienic masks leading to fungal infections like mucormycosis.

They aren't doing genome sequencing of all cases coz it isn't practically possible..doing it for a sample size..so there r high chances that surge is omicron related. Also if symptoms r mild and possible to manage at home everyone may not go for testing..specially if recovering in couple of days..it's completely understandable.
We have to take care not to step out of home with the symptoms though..individual responsibility
I got not to go in office this week 🤡And I get not to get another shot done for a little while so getting Omicron was good news to especially. Not pleasant but it's more like cold with a headache than the flu.

First I would like to thank all the healthcare workers. You guys have saved lives by putting your own at risk. You've worked long and hard during these uncertain times. You guys are heroes.
All that said, I don't believe another lockdown is the answer. Economies have already crashed, small businesses closed, people without jobs or shelter and just as importantly the mental heath which is just as big a pandemic as Covid, now. We can't and shouldn't close down countries everytime a new variant emerges.
What Covid has exposed is our healthcare system which hasn't evolved in decades. We need to do everything to make it stronger because these waves will be normal. I'm shocked Australia doesn't have a separate ward for Covid patients...thats extremely dangerous.
Wish 2022 brings us all some normalcy along with great health, physical and mental.
Hi
Sydney has covid wards , we are just running out of beds as so many people have covid that people with presentations unrelated to covid also have covid on testing eg folks with fractures or accidents.
The new stars on the block will give competition to the existing lot.Which actors or actress will get affected due to Saiyaara's success?
