oG has always been promoted as a joint family story in this fay and age and not as BhabiMa’s story. It clearly shows the sacrifices made by each and every character.

Murthy- Dhanam - deciding not to have kids because of the brothers. It was Murthu’s idea and Dhanam had to bear the brunt for 14 long years before she had the baby. Not one day she regretted or rubbed it on anyone. Infact when MIL comes to know , it was her sin’s doing, she was devastated and did not talk to Murthy for days and apologized on behalf of her son to Dhanam for spoiling her life.
Mullai and Kathir’s sacrifice into marrying the person she hated the most for families sake and how they rise from it and today touted as the ideal couple of Kunnakudi ( the small town in TN where the story happens)

Menna’s sacrifices - marrying into a middle class only because she loved Jeeva so much and doesn’t hesitate to show it even after 3 years. She has indeed come a long way from being a rich spoilt brat to the most loved person in that family, a voice of reason and most of all doesn’t mind getting trolled, every single one of them troll her so much that she takes it all in good spirit

Jeeva’s sacrifices from making Meena adjust, to apologizing to Kathir and Mullai for pushing them into an unwanted marriage because of him. Jeeva always stands tall because he understood what Kathir Mullai had to go through because of him and the way he was supportive of their love story and how he was always there for Kathir and still is. His bond with Kathir is the best brother bond I have seen in my years of watching regional and ITV shows.

Most of all Dhanam not being overbearing, always giving space to her devars and their wives and doesn’t show favoritism to one of them. To her all 3 are equal and she strives hard to make all the 3 devranis equal. IMO, Dhanam is a true selfless woman.

Unless his love is unconditional, Raavi has to show her nakhras, she cannot give in easily. You cannot threaten her with divorce and then expect a kiss from her, not happening😕

Preach! I wish raavi calls him out for this. If she has a fight with dhara in future will shiva open a new petition for divorce? What if they have kids? It needs to nipped in the bud now.

Ignoring how toxic dhara is, raavi considers her a sister and sisters fight. Lord knows I fight with my sisters. He cannot behave this way and expect his relationship to survive.

I hope raavis plan works tomorrow, I really hope so because I just think how she is treated is cruel. Beside the deal wasnt bad. Their name was ruined and she was offering deals, once the people see how the goods are legit, they can stop the discount.

Back to shiva, if he continues to behave this way he is going to be a terrible husband and in future a terrible father. He needs help. Therapy. The whole family needs therapy.

the more i read about og the more i feel disappointed aache khase show ko kaise barbaad kar dia hai i wish mujje language aati toh kabka ye show choddh deti

I m bengali and anupama is remake of bengali show sreemoyee and maine sreemoyee dekhti thi lekin honestly i m saying anupama is far far far better than sreemoyee in og sreemoyee (anupama)is way way too good to be a human infact raavi(from ps) bhi itni aachi nahi hai

All in all i want to say even the remake of regional show can be better than original if depicted well but ps koi aata hi nahi unse hota hi nahi hai

To be honest, if I ever have to choose between Pandian Stores and Pandya Store, I will choose Pandian Stores any day. I have come to love the characters and actors of the original, very down to earth actors, they are all still together from day 1 of the show except when the actors die in real life they are replaced. Otherwise every actor who started on Day 1 and alive are still part of the show. Their joint interviews, participating in each others milestones, functions, celebrations is heartwarming to see. Not one gossip has been spread about the actors or for that matter, not even aware of any fights between the actors.

That said, I am sticking to this show only because I have come to like few actors who I didn’t know before this show. When I started watching the show from day 1, I only knew Kriuttila, Kinshuk and Shiny. I was only a fan of Kruttika as I grew up watching several of her shows in the 90s. As for Shiny and Kinshuk, I was neutral with them. I solely started watching the show because it’s a remake of my favorite regional show and that’s all.
After the leap 2 actors who I got hooked on right away were KD and Simran. Then slowly warmed up to Alice and Mohit and finally Akshay.

I have not seen him this happy even when he reunited with Raavi 😆after the 3rd angle track and now he has one mind track, that is BhabiMa’s kushi, that’s all he cares, baad mein gaya baaki sab 😆

She is one confused aatma. Atleast she moved from like phase during Diwali to love phase in 2 months which is a big leap.

Now I feel Raavi’s love is unconditional, doesn’t want Shiva to change, has no problems with his tel-masale ki khushbu, or with his job.

It is Shiva who has conditional love because she has a mind of her own, speaks against Bhabima and not a carbon copy of BhabiMa or doesn’t do her jaap much😔

I don’t know if and when Shiva will realize Raavi’s worth and love her for who she is 😔
